Just a general complaining thread on my part. I have never committed to doing Nano before till this year, only because I tend to stay pretty busy. I decided that this would be a good year to try out Nano. I'm already falling behind, mostly due to work commitments. (I'm an English teacher, and I stay late so my hours are crazy) Then of course I need time to spend with my other half, so today she sat on the couch watching me Nano type. xd

Right now I'm working on lessons for my kiddos to learn this next week, and I hope that later tonight I will have some time to work again on Nano. I have noticed that Write or Die keeps me motivated. Anyone else having trouble finding time to squeeze the writing in?

Yeah...I used to be a week ahead but now I'm only a day. It has to do with school - I spent the better part of five hours both today and yesterday reading chapters in two subjects, plus doing some other work - and then Skryim came out Friday (but I got it Thursday, mwhahaha) so my time oh look at it vanishing.

I'm bunking down and using the two-three hours I have tomorrow during classes to punch out some good writing though. And I'm going to try for main project progress. Urgh, Aries just isn't very interesting at the moment.

And the friend I'm writing it for in the first place hasn't been on for going on three months so the drive to write it weekly like I used to is diminishing...sort of worried about what happened to him. What a time to wish I had his MSN.

I'm doing good on my side project...13k words or so is entirely in it, a series of drabbles xD

He was having computer problems last time we talked but his boyfriend is in the military and was deployed a while ago so...that's sort of why I worry a bit.

I'm about a week behind right now and I can't really afford to just take a day and power through what I need to write in order to catch up since I have an essay due this week and a midterm as well. I've been having difficulties balancing school and NaNo this month since November is the month of term papers and I'm and English/history double major, so it's a lot of writing that I need to get done for my courses. D:
