There are very talented writers creating fanfiction for Tron.
I hope everyone gets the chance to read some of the more prominent gems in the fandom, like Sweet Disease, Ultimate Ally, and Tales from the Grid. But these are just my top three. There are dozens, maybe even hundreds, of wonderful pieces up on fanfiction.net, and I urge anyone interested to check them out.
I don't go on livejournal much for Tron fics because of the unbelievable amount of yaoi smut. Don't get my wrong, my life is a yaoi, uguuu. But when it comes to this story, I like serious drama and etc., not smut.
I've also been working on my own fic. To be honest, I've neglected it for months now because of my lack of inspiration, enthusiasm, and due to life's more complicated things. But here's my story, Incongruence. I should be updating it soon though, with a very long chapter. I'm open to critiquing, too.
Also, it used to be called, "Ghost in the Machine", but it bothered me so much that it's like I was ripping off the Tron comics that I changed it recently to it's current title. orz
Anyway, I suppose you guys can discuss on the topic in this thread. Enjoy. C:

Read yr fanfic... VERY VERY well written and accurate in detail. I highly respect attention to small details when individuals do fanfic as even minor mistakes will break me out of the story to start nitpicking as the errors tend to start to become more obvious as the story progresses. Kudos to you.

It was actually IMO, the best one out of the links you gave. I could litterally visualize every movement and moment that Clu was making changes to the disc and his discussion with Xana.. The ONLY thing I could offer as criticism to help improve it would be to possible add some 80's lingo to Clu... You know, uses of "man" and "right on" or whatever other "dude-isms" you could sneak in there just b/c it would really highlight his personality a bit more. But otherwise, enthralling and really drawing me in biggrin Really look forward to reading future chapters smile

This is Linsberger's creation and if he doesn't have a hand in it when it comes to what is regarded as canon, then it just feels like the author is overstepping boundries. One is free to create fan-fics, but to go as far as that means that odds are good that the work just ends up becoming contradicted in the end.... So, once more... KUDOS biggrin

I can't wait to write more, but dude I'm so busy right now ahahahAHAHAHA /crai I can see how much work you put into it so I can imagine each chapter can be quite draining (but a labor of love). Yr a remarkable writer and I know you can't rush something this good. Take yr time, I'll still read it as yr able to continue the story. And yr very welcome, but I only call it as I see it. So it's not you that should be thanking me, but the other way around. So, thank YOU for putting out such great work!! ^_^
