Yumi had a relatively normal childhood and average life, except she was raised by her single mother. Her father died when she was five leaving her mother to raise her by herself. Everything has been going well, that is until she turned 16. Her mother is a scientist so they travel around a lot but this time, her mother has to leave once again, but Yumi can't come this time. Since she is 16 now, Yumi's mother wants her to stay behind so she can stay in school. Yumi doesn't want to do this but complies anyways since it is her mother's wishes, also her mother's friend lives close by. Yumi now has to live by herself since no one else can take her in. She has to quickly grow up now since she has to manage everything by herself. To top it off, she's entering a new high school making thing's even more stressful for her. Especially since she's at that age where she's become more aware of boys, but unlike other girl's she does not obsess over them. That is, when she meets a one who just won't leave her alone. In fact, he enjoys teasing her but remains cool and calm. Yumi Pierott  Age: 16 Gender: Female Height: 5'1" Weight: 112lbs Any guy out there willing to play? cHesHiRe_CaT_0013 wonderful! let's do it 8D Alright here is my guy.  Name: Cain McKeltar Age: 18 Height: 6'0" Weight: 170lbs Background: Cain was born to an actress and a popular rock star. Even though he was born into money, as most would call it, he doesn't have the arrogant attitude of someone who was. At least not completely anyways. Cain was known to be a bit stand offish around girls. He never spoke to them really and he had turned down every confession that came his way. He seems to be the bad boy type but is actually the exact opposite. This starts showing up when a new girl comes to his school and he takes a slight interest in her. If you want anything changed please let me know.

ooc: wonderful x3 A stack of boxes stood on the curb when a girl placed another one down. "This is the last one mom!" the girl called out. A woman emerged from the house with some bags and a suitcase. Yumi stared at her mother, mostly at the bags. Her mother noticed and smiled gently. She walked over to her daughter and placed a hand on the young girl's face. Yumi glanced up at her mom before embracing her suddenly. "Why can't you take me? I can just change schools!" she said. "I know, but your grades are hurting because we move around so much. I want you to get a good education so that's why I need you to stay here. Don't worry, I'll be back before you know it!" Yumi's mother said cheerfully. After a while, Yumi pulled back and the two of them finished up. Soon, Yumi was waving goodbye to her mom's car as it drove off. Yumi bit her lip before looking up at the apartment she would be living in now.

Shortly after Yumi's mother pulls away, a young woman with long black hair approaches her and smiles. This was her mother's friend whom had been called shortly after to make sure Yumi would be alright. "Don't worry Yumi. I live just next door so you don't have to worry alright." she says softly as she places a hand on the girls shoulder. Her hazel eyes show the kindness that her smile carried.

ooc: oh and question, do you want me to quote you everytime i reply back? The young girl felt a hand on her shoulder which was from her mother's friend. Yumi recognized this woman from long ago. "Thanks... but I'll be okay," Yumi replied with a small smile. "Well I should go unpack," she added.

ooc: I constantly refresh the page so its not needed. ^_^ Looking at her, the woman smiles and nods. "Alright dear. If you need anything just let me know." she says before walking into her house that was right next door. She knew that Yumi would be able to care for herself but she still got the feeling that the girl wasn't happy to be here by herself.

Yumi headed into the apartment building then into the elevator. Once there, she pressed the button for the fifth floor.
"Will I be okay?" she murmured to herself as Yumi leaned against the wall.
The elevator door suddenly dinged open, signalling that it was time for her to get off. She walked out into the hallway and went to her right where he apartment was located. Inside her apartment were some boxes and a few furniture, but besides that it was completely empty, and quiet. Yumi glanced around the room feeling empty.

As the time passed, several hours went by and Amelia, Yumi's mother's friend, goes over to Yumi's place with a pan of lasagna. Knocking on the door, she waits for a reply before calling out slightly. "Yumi dear, I brought you over something to eat." she says in a cheery voice.

For the next few hours, Yumi unpacked her belongings whne a sudden knock on her door caused her to jump. She heard Amelia's voice saying that she had brought over food, and that was when her stomach suddenly grumbled. Yumi grasped her stomach before getting up and answering the door.
"Thanks," Yumi said.

Amelia smiles and nods her head. "It's no problem dear. Are you ready for school tomorrow? You should make sure to get a lot of sleep." she says with a smile on her face. Amelia wasn't trying to make it sound like she was going to be a replacement mom but she felt that just a slight reminder about some things would be good for Yumi.
