...my inspiration, that is. In other words, I'm having an EXTREME writer's block. As in, I haven't written anything that I've liked in the last year. =.= Does anyone have any ideas on how to regain that inspiration? gonk

5 days late...
I'm sure you've already tried these things, but I
Listen to songs that fit my story watch similar movies talk it over with someone I trust (who is willing to listen)
Also, something that's really helped me is to pinpoint the things I like most in my favorite movies and books, and then try to integrate them into my story. It can be general, like: 'I like a death-trap competition' or 'I like one of the good guys to be really grumpy'. Things that you can really personalize, so it's not just stealing other peoples ideas.
You have to have a deviant art account to do this, but I'll go look through my favorite pictures and come up with one sentence that describes a story I could write based off that picture. It's tons of fun. And there are so many pictures!
