 Jacob woke to his alarm going off. He turned off the alarm, not wanting to wake his parents. This was his first day at this new school and he didn't want it to start out shitty, like it usually did. He had just moved to this new house after his dad lost his job because of a fight at work. It happened all the time. His dad lost his job because of a fight, got a new job, and moved. This was... the 5th school in 4 years? Jacob had lost count. He put on his clothes, which consisted of jeans, a t-shirt, socks, and his sneakers. Jacob walked out of the door, throwing on his jacket and backpack while walking out.

Mikado Rose Light Mikado woke up when the sun was rising. she stretched her arms and stood up. she walked over to her closet, searching for the perfect for the first day of her junior year. she quickly got dressed seeing the time and that she was almost late. Mikado walked downstairs, grabbed a bagel and ran out the door." see ya later mum! "she yelled as she ran across the street to the school.

Jacob walked to the school, but saw the crowds of teenagers in front of the doors and walked around back, not wanting to deal with crowds. He turned the corner and saw an open window. Jacob hopped up and grabbed onto the windowsill and started to pull himself up.

Mikado Rose Light Mikado frowned when she saw a boy go around back. " what is he up to? " she mumbled to herself. suspecting that he was going to smoke she followed him. when she turned the corner, she could see him trying to get into the window. she giggled a bit then walked over to him. " you need some help? " she said softly.

The voice behind Jacob surprised him and sent him backwards onto the ground. He laid there on his back, with the wind knocked out of him until he had the breath to say, "Ow."

Mikado Rose Light Mikado gasped and dropped her books. " oh god! im so sorry! let me help you!" she said, rushing over to the boy and checking to see if he had any injuries. " im Mikado.." she said smiling nervously while trying to help him up.

"Hi, Mikado. I'm Jacob." He said, standing up. He leaned over and picked up her books and held them out to her. "Don't feel sorry, I shouldn't have been trying to sneak in. I just don't do well with crowds, so I tried to sneak past them."

Mikado Rose Light Mikado nodded, taking the books. "ya i know what you mean..." she said frowning. she was usually by herself since her friend maria moved away a year ago. " so jacob, you new around here?" she said while grinning. she began walking along beside him.

"Yeah. How long do you think it will be before the crowds go away?" Jacob asked, looking at the girl. Jacob thinks about his friend from the last school he was in. Arthur was loud, funny, dynamic, and always pulling pranks. Jacob was quite the opposite. Antisocial, quiet, and calm.

Mikado Rose Light Mikado sighed. " not until like, 5 minutes after the bell rings..." she looked over at the crowd. "we could walk in together? i mean if you want to!" she blushed a bright red and looked at him, then the floor.

Jacob smiled at Mikado. "I would love to. But do we have to go in immediately? I mean, the crowds and everything are right there and.." Jacob blushed now, feeling embarrassed.

Mikado Rose Light Mikado tilted her head and stared at him. " i guess we could wait to go in.." she smiled at him then waited a few moments before speaking again. " so, what brings you to san francisco? she said while brushing his shoulder playfully. she felt a bit odd and attracted to him, shrugging the thought from her mind, she turned to him, waiting for an answer.(( listed a place...let me know if we should change it. ))

Mikado Rose Light Mikado shrugged. " my mum and i travel alot, but ya. ive been here since i was 10.." she said, adding a mischievous grin as she thought of the days when her and maria would mess with maria's younger brother by scaring him.she began to frown when she remembered why she moved, her father died that month and her mother wanted to get away from the painful memories.
