So I caught a Farfetch'D in my HeartGold replay today. I checked her stats and it said
"Timid nature. Nov.26, 2011. Route 48. Met at Lv. 25. Likes to fight."
It's timid and it likes to fight. How odd. neutral
Something like "Hasty//Proud of its power" or "Calm//Somewhat stubborn" are acceptable. My Liiku is Timid yet she likes to fight? WTHell is wrong with you, Arceus? >:[
Any funny/odd Pokemon Natures and their personalities combination?

Come to think of it, a lot of the natures that lower Attack don’t mesh well with the characteristics that indicate a high Attack IV.
E.G:
“Modest” yet “Proud of its power” “Calm” yet “Likes to thrash about” or “Quick tempered”
I could see Bold going with “Likes to fight.”
Same is true for a lot of other characteristics vs. natures that oppose them. E.G. “Brave” yet “Quick to flee,” “Careful” yet “Mischievous,” or “Lax” yet “Strong willed”; although there are some examples that are just weird even without them directly affecting each other in any way:
“Serious” yet “Somewhat of a clown” “Relaxed” yet “Very finicky”

@W`nnabe: ikr? 0.o I know the personalities are based off highest stats but sometimes the combination is just too odd. gonk
@Kyuala: Well, my Ampharos is capable of taking hits and mostly she can hold on till 4HP left for a KO-ing critical hit. So...That explains a bit...(?) emotion_sweatdrop

Yea, it matters. What characteristic a pokémon has depends on which of its individual values is the highest. So a pokémon with a “Likes to fight” characteristic would have Attack as its highest IV. (Although sometimes the values are equal, in which case the characteristic is determined by something else — for instance, I have a Zangoose with 31’s [highest possible value] in Atk, Def, Sp. Atk, and Speed, but his characteristic is “Alert to sounds” iirc.)
