The Mateo Can't ready for the Mavs to whoop the Heat in the season "premiere". xd Really hoping for that. biggrin And the Lakers have a tough one for their first game against the Bulls. It'll be a good game anyway. I'm just excited the NBA is back.

Here are my predictions for opening day:
Celtics 109, Knicks 96 - Boston wins comfortably over Knicks in 2011 quarterfinals rematch. (may change this one if Paul is traded to NY)
Mavs 99, Heat 94 - Dallas keeps regular season win streak against Miami rolling.
Bulls 89, Lakers 82 - Los Angeles starts off first season with Mike Brown shaky against Derrick Rose and Chicago.
Thunder 115, Magic 108 - Kevin Durant and the Thunder start another good year to the semifinals or conference finals with win against Orlando.
Clippers 112, Warriors 101 - Blake Griffin will lead the Clippers to a close push for a 6, 7 or 8 seed this year in my opinion. They'll beat GS in Oakland.

@Mateo
I wouldn't be surprised if the Lakers have trouble against the Bulls and in the first few games of the season. I just hope Mike Brown can help Bynum and Gasol become better defensive players.

WheezyXXIV @Mateo I wouldn't be surprised if the Lakers have trouble against the Bulls and in the first few games of the season. I just hope Mike Brown can help Bynum and Gasol become better defensive players. Yeah, especially since these are the first few days Kobe has been able to communicate with Brown due to the lockout. A team with Kobe Bryant on it will always find ways to win so playoffs are still a lock in my opinion, but maybe a 4-6 seed. I could see Phoenix giving them a run for their money for the division title.
