Why is it that dubbing annoys soo many people? I for one don't mind English dubs at all. In fact, it's sometimes better(watch Ghost Stories with the original subtitles and you'll know why) but so many people complain about it. Are you one that loath English dubs? If so, why?

Not really, depends on the voices. Even in my own language voices might disturb me, but that mostly depends on how the voice is used, on which character and if it's not OOC and fits the actual character.

I don't mind the dubbing either but you have some animes expectly the boys they dub it and they sounds sooo off character like in Tokyo Mew Mew in English Kish who is Dren sounds soo gay when he isn't its sooo sad...

Just depends.
Like I think they did a good job with Bleach.
I HATE Naruto's English voice.
DBZ sounds weird in Japanese after growing up watching it in English.

Most of the time I prefer my anime in Japanese. Because alot of anime isn't cast well here in America. For some reason they seem to think all of the female characters have to constantly speak in a high pitched shrill voice and its murder on my ears.
There are a few exceptions though where I prefer them in english.
ie: Cowboy Bebop, Golden Boy, and Trigun

Being alone ♥ Hmmm it really depends. Sometimes the voice annoys me and I feel like it doesn't fit the character. Like the really high pitch voices that girl character usually have annoys me sooo much. Forevermore

I just kinda prefer things in their original version, and this doesn't only prefer to anime.... but movies and games too ^_^;
Besides everything that 4kids touches... is somehow instantly ruined :/ And I am still sad for what Funimation did to Kuroshitsuji

I'll watch it either way. ^_^ If it's Japanese only then I guess I'm reading subs, but for the most part if it's dubbed I'll watch it in English. 3nodding There are only a select few Anime that I hate the English dub and always watch with subs, Blue Seed and Vampire Princess Miyu. Their voices just don't suit them! xd
