For the last 12 years or so (at least) I've been taking my morning coffee in one particular mug. Now, over the years that they were available 6 of these things were purchased. I broke 4.
H broke (and when I say "broke" it was actually closer to vaporized) the last one last night farting around with a turkey where he shouldn't have been. I set it on the counter over the dishwasher because I'd caught Bastian licking it and he's a gross little boy and there's no way I was going to put my mouth on that cup without a ride in the washer first. Said washer was still full of clean dishes and I didn't feel like emptying it right then. More's the pity.
This glorious thing was a 15-16 oz cafe mug, beautiful gloss black with a graphic on it. The top said Cafe Wicca. Underneath that was a cauldron with a pentacle on it and underneath the cauldron it said: A spellbinding brew.
Or maybe "bewitching"...I could never remember. Doesn't matter now. crying Worse yet I couldn't even flip out about it because H was already doing so.
It really cheeses me off...cafe mugs like that one (specifically that shape/size) are IMPOSSIBLE to find these days. Currently drinking out of a Christmas themed gargantuan 20 or so oz one but after the holidays I'm going to want to use something less heavy and not festooned with peppermints. The only other same-sized mug as the Cafe Wicca one is the last of 2 Fortune Wok mugs we bought a few years back the last time we went to that restaurant. They're brown and boring. Have a nice little graphic on them but it's brown too so you can't see it. Well, there are still technically 2 but one of us broke the handle off of one of them so now it can only be used to measure water for coffee.

I really should've bought the stoneware fleur de lis mug I had my eye on a couple of weeks ago. It's gone now. =(

Oh oh oh, I almost forgot.
There was one really funny one on Amazon that if it'd been bigger I'd have gotten it just for giggles. It said: Hi. I'm your nurse. What stupid f---ing thing did you do today?

Zazzle's max is 15 oz and a lot of their stuff requires hand washing. (I think that's them.) Lots of wonderful designs though, I agree. Been in and out of pagan, celtic, unicorn, ferret, elephant and fleur de lis. Same with cafepress who if I'm remembering correctly from yesterday doesn't tell you the mug size.
Actually I may have those backward. In any case I'm looking for 16-18 in a cafe or latte mug. Latte mugs unfortunately usually top out at about 14 oz. I'm all full up on 6-15 oz standard mugs. We actually have a fairly ridiculous collection of coffee cups. xd But I'm a brat. I want something special. scream Let the company drink out of normal.
I'd be find if those damn Day of the Dead skull mugs had actually been the size in the description. They're good for cocoa or specialty coffee though.

I'm sorry to hear about your mugs Felly I got exactly the same way when someone broke one of my glasses (it was turquoise glass, really pretty and part of the six I bought for dan and mine's first home)
Sadly I can't help with mugs much...I didn't know they came in different size (duh) But good luck finding a new one.

And thank-you. heart It'll be a process. I just wish the original company was still in existence. Might give me half a chance to find something similar. They were doing a lot of that style of mug with different designs.
Oh, and for those keeping score, Bag of Bones part 1 is on tonight.

Yes it is Felly! Yes it is! It's been on the calendar since I learned about it. I wish it was longer than two nights. I do love me some Stephen King mini-series but I guess this is more of a tv movie or mini-mini-series.

Same here...for calendar marking. Haven't watched the first part yet. Last night was kind of a mess and I opted to go to bed early to get the day over with. And I STILL can't fathom that 4 hours is going to cover that entire book.
Sadly I may not get to watch it today either. H may be out either doing movies next door or off to a diabetic class and then this evening we'll be heading to Panda Express for my bday dinner. Even if he isn't out I've got a ton of stuff to do today. Hooray.

Well they are reshowing the first part today and then the finale. From what I saw in the first part, I'm a little afraid that they are going to rush through the second half because it seems like they still have a lot to cover and explain.

Well I guess I'll find out today. ^_^ (Hollywood's spending all their monehs on Game of Thrones, that's what it is. XD Or they spent too much monehs on hiring Pierce Brosnan and there wasn't enough left over to do the whole story.)
Dinner wasn't too bad. (Except on the way out we ran into the neighbors who were on their way to go kill a tree for xmas. =() Yuli was there and gave me free birthday water, piled up the food for us and let H split one of his entrees between two dishes (well, that makes no sense...) One of his orders between two entrees...there, that's better. *LOL* She's adorable.
But then we went next door to GameStop and he was really rude to the (sooo adorable) guy who came to help us. And I'll not go into specifics but we had to rush home, then H took a nap, got up long enough to give me a present (I was told there would be two???!) and went back to bed.
Happy birthday to me...

Well Happy (Belated) Birthday Felly! Wish it was a little better but at least nothing too stressful happened.
As far as Bag of Bones, I feel like they rushed the ending although everything was explained. I feel like the progression of events was too quick. Although I never read the book, I get the feeling the author was up at Dark Score Lake for months.
