A well-written memoir is better than sex.

I just read The Glass Castle by Jeanette Walls and hot damn was it ever good.
I had already read Half Broke Horses, which I believe was written afterwards but chronologically the events in that one happened first. That woman has had quite a life!

Do you guys dig a good memoir?

I've never read any memoir unless that is the same thing as an autobiography, ish. I guess ish then I have read one, which was Mick Foley's first book. Better then sex, hell no, but good read. I don't usually read thos ethough, although if there is a couple poeple out there to write one I might read it.

The only memoir I've ever read was Nicholas Spark's book that he wrote with his brother. It was wonderful and really gave an insight as to why he writes his books the way he does. I've been thinking of picking it up again to read for the heck of it. Otherwise, I'm not much into them.
