Litha is a big, perfectly circular city. It's the capitol city of a not-so-vast country. The citizens of both the city and the country mix magic and technology, usually making things that make their lives easier. The first thing people usually see is the tower in the exact center of the city. It's about twice as big as the next biggest building in the city, and towers over everything surrounding it. The land around it is roughly flat, and there's a river running through the city. The people are mostly magic-users of some type or another, and don't welcome non-magic-users very readily. They also don't like magic-users with useless powers. Even though the city is huge, the people know almost everyone, and can spot a newcomer instantly. They're currently trying to create a new source of energy, to power all their new technology without costing them too much money or lives.

Kyna blinked. "What was that man talking about?" she wondered aloud. "It didn't take a few days to get here. It hardly took one!" She looked at the city. It was huge. She didn't think she'd ever seen a city this size. Smugly, the wind swirled around her. "Yes, I know, you've seen bigger. Hush." Slowly, she walked forward. "Well, at least it looks interesting. Maybe I'll be able to figure out what's wrong with this area in this place." Kyna walked a bit faster, impatient. The spire stuck out into the sky, impeding the free flowing of the wind. Kyna rolled her eyes at it. "Really, is there a point to that?"

"Actualy, there is," someone to her right said.

Kyna jumped about a foot into the air, dodging to the left. "You scared me," she remarked calmly. "I haven't been startled by anyone for years. What's the point of the tower?"

"It conducts magic," said the man. He was fairly old, and could barely stand up straight. He looked up at the tower again. "The towe rwas made especially to gather and magnify the magic from fifteen miles around. No magic can escape it."

"Huh," Kyna muttered. "That would be a good reason." She looked at the man. "What about elemental magic? Can it collect that?"

"Of course," the man replied. "Not as well as magic that's drawn from oneself, but magic is magic, after all. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to take this path home. Have a nice day."

"You, too," Kyna muttered, watching him go. She looked back at the tower. "Well, that might explain something. Not sure what, but something." She continued toward the city.

Kyna sat ata table outside a small restaurant, putting her elbow on the table and her chin in her hand. "Let's see," she muttered under her breath. "Discreet, discreet. How to find stuff out while being discreet?" Kyna had never been very good at being discreet. The wind whipped her hair in all different directions, until she snapped, Quit that. You're making people stare at me. People weren't, but she didn't want them to start. She saw some guy in black walk past, but pretty much ignored him. Much of her wind went to explore the city, and bring back some interesting tidbits for Kyna to examine. And possibly figure something out from.

Cyrus began to walk upon the cold ground of Litha city. "For being so technological advanced they really need to work on the cold ground..." She said as her paws felt frozen. Unknown to all her friends and most people among the city, Cyrus had sent out her spirits to check the area. They were looking everywhere to see where the grimness was coming from and finally isolated the problem. Roze. They came back to Cyrus and returned to her side whispering the assasin's name. "Oh dear...."

A waitress showed up and lead Zell to a table by a window looking out at the street. He asked for Raman and grape juice. He looked out at the street with a dazed look though it was hidden from the world by the hood of his black cloak. After awhile the waitress came with his food.

"Thank you....." he said in a soft voice, and then went to eating.

Bob could help but smile. "Oh? Is that so... Don't worry milady Cyrus. Something tells me that she will not hurt us." He said reasuring her. The whole time immagining what could possibly happen if the girl dared to attack the group.

Then with a smile, Bob began to look around. It certainly did seem like a very interesting place. He had only seen a few places that had combined technology and magic like this before.
Of course with that were also the other places that were technology, and people just thought it was magic. Still smiling, he shook his head. If only people thought some days it would end up being so simple.
