I wasn't really going to be worried about it...
Until I saw a commercial on it.
Considerably I'm not much more worried, but I' still worried enough.
I hope SOPA is stopped.
But I'm still thinking about emailing my congressmen.

This again? Seriously, when are the idiots in the U.S. Government going to realize that the internet is not "U.S.-owned or U.S.-specific"?

I wish them luck on attempting this near-impossible feat. Pirating is as broad as ever on the internet.

Not to mention they really have no way to enforce it aside from cutting off everyone's internet entirely. There are ways around any sort of "blocking" they might try, and there are ways to do stuff on the internet under the radar. If by some chance this does pass, everyone and their great-grandma will end up being hackers to some degree.

The SOPA enforcers really gotta create something for security of iPod-to-cassette-player calibur. Or else, like you mentioned, every average comp user will be a hacker.

I heard Firefox has already made something to get around SOPA.
