We all don't know. All I have on that is the whole "bad guys are there to lose" thing is so boring and they keep doing it over and over again.

A tad bit late into the discussion by a couple years, but I liked Gundam Unicorn and its collection of the past events. I haven't watched all of the UC era shows ((only getting near the end of the original MSG)) but loved the OVA. Especially some of the suits like Unicorn and Banshee.

The sleeves only had outdated mobile suits with the most updated ones being the Zulu variants and Shamblo. The rest come from MSG, Z and ZZ times...

Some were from CCA though. Quess' old Jagd Doga was partially repaired, repainted, and sent out to fight. Not just the model -- that specific Jagd Doga.

I also love Unicorn and the past events. It was great to see the MS in CG and everything as well, and I was always a fan of Katoki Hajime's artwork and designs. It was also neat that if one looked closely and even paused the frames in the right points in Ep. 7; the Big Zam, RX-78-2, Elmeth, Char's Gelgoog, and even Sayla in her Core Booster make cameo appearances. Sayla is even drawn in the cockpit!
