How about a new thread contest?
people could enter once per subforum
and it would encourage some activity
and encourage people to make more threads about what they like
and hopefully like to talk about XD
I could probably offer a prize like one item off there wishlist or something depending on my funds, but that way everyone will be sure to want the prize?

but even if two people made a new thread for each sub forum it would be a lot of new stuff to talk about?
I don't really mind doing the prizes, I'm well off on here, to bad I couldn't change that over to real life XD
