Name: Saisi --last name redacted--
Species: Drell
Gender: Male
Age: Unknown
'Class': Infiltrator
Appearance: The Drell
Personality: Saisi is, to himself, completely free. He says what he wants, does what he wants. He doesn't seem to have regrets - in fact he acknowledges that he doesn't do what he may regret later. This had lead to a slightly disassocirate with the normal world and something in his brain that says the only way he'll ever be really, truly free...is to die.

Name: Lilat Kelerran
Species: Turian
Gender: Female
Age: late 30s, possibly early 40s.
Appearance: Light grey skin, fringeless. Blue eyes. Her clan markings are purple, and see to be less intricate than most from her colony. Her mandibles are a bit 'soft' for a Turian, lacking the sharp angles of most. She is almost always wearing a hood, due to heavy scarring on the skin on the back of her head. She's a bit tall, for a Turian, and was a few inches taller than most of the Turians she met in the military...even a few of her Commanding officers. She'd be pretty enough, for a Turian, if she didn't keep her face so carefully neutral all the time.
'Robe' armor Robe Under hood scars
Personality: Lilat is vocal, to put it mildly. If she doesn't like something, or someone, she will be sure to tell them, and this incudes orders - while in her service in the Turian military she recieved many marks on her record for declaring her dislike for orders. She would follow them, of course, but she would hardly go above and beyond the call of her duty. She is rather sarcastic to put people off, and tends to be short tempered with people she doesn't know or trust. She's likely to dismiss and ignore people she's just been introduced to. However if, for some reason, someone is likely to stick around long enough to gain her trust she is a valuble ally, loyal, with a sense of humor and, surprisingly, sensitive.
Past: Lilat's mother was a drive core technician first in the Turian military, and became pregnant with Lilat's older brother before her time in the military was up. She was given an honorable discharge for a few years in order to raise him, and returned to duty when he was old enough. Lilat would be born 10 years later, after her mother was retired from the military and working on a civilian vessel. An eezo leak in the drive core, which her mother had volunteered to investigate, caused Lilat to be a biotic. Lilat's father was a military man for life, and didn't seem to mind the fact that his youngest was a biotic, a fact that always made her mother a bit twitchy.
Despite her parent's support, Lilat's time in the military would not be as smooth as theirs or her older brother's. Her status as a biotic kept her watched from a young age, and she entered the military a year early to begin specific training and to recieve her biotic amplifiers. She quickly learned to be on the defensive around other, non-biotic Turians who, while respecting her, made no secret of distrust. She was sent on a few high-risk missions and patrols, in her career.
A few years into her service, she was sent on an infiltrate and investigate mission, which end badly. She insisted on protecting innocent civilians against Raiders. While she managed to do so, it was at a cost - a grenade caused the wall behind her to explode, and the blast and shrapnel tore up the back of her head. She was in a coma for several days and recovered quickly, but the skin on the back of her head would forever be discolored and scarred.
She stayed longer than most in the miitary, due to being useful, but eventually she left following the death of her father. She left to find her own way in the galaxy.
Other: For a turian biotic, Lilat is strong. Combine that with a high knowledge of weaponry and a sharp aim, and even alone she can be deadly. However, now that she's out of the military she tends to save her biotics for emergency, lest she be judged for that alone.
Due to the scarring on the back of her head, she is rarely seen without her hood. About the only time she takes it off is when she is naked.
Her brother, like her father, went military for life, and he's a military doctor.
Lilat is, surprisingly, fantastic cook.

Name: Roma'Tan
Species: Quarian
Gender: Female
Age: At least 5 years beyond pilgramage, but it's hard to tell with Quarians. If one had to guess, most likely around 28.
Appearance: Roma'Tan has, of course, the usual suit. However over the years she has collected various 'outfits' for herself, most based on older human cultures. Upon being exiled she found a fondness for Arabian dress, as well as Indian, ancient greco-roman, and several others, and based several outfits on those cultures traditional dress. She seems to favor blues and greens. She also has grey toned outfits for stealth as needed. She's quire fashionable, really and a bit short for a Quarian.
Style 1
Personality: Like most Quarians, Roma tends to think in collective. She will do whatever does the most good for the most people. However the past few years being outside of the Flotilla has caused her to chg her mind on a few things. She had accepted the fact that she has to be a bit selfish sometimes, and do things for herself, and she does so. She has no qualms with killing people, but only 'if they deserve it'. She's quite bubbbly in general, and trusting which has gotten her into much trouble. She's easily amused and distracted.
Past: Roma had a normal growing up in the Flotilla. Both of her parents were marines, and so it was no surprise when she grew interested in weaponry at a young age. Her Pilgramage lasted so long that some people thought she was dead, until she came back with a few star charts and weapon specs to be more useful against the Geth.
Roma would end up working as a marine, but not on the front lines unless necessary. Her knowledge of large scale weapons lead her to research better defenses and better weapons for the Flotilla until there was an accident. The accident resulted in one ship being rendered scrap and another almost being destroyed. Roma was deemed responsible and she accepted exile, due to the guilt of harming her people.
Roma was dumped on a station circling a planet that gave resources to the Flotilla (to keep them from strip mining a moon), and worked on it for a few months before managing to get off the station. Ever since then she's been going around, working as a mechanic or a mercenary, depending on what services are needed.
Other notes: Roma's most prize posession is her sniper rifle, which her father gave her when she went on Pilgramage. It's old, but she keeps it in perfect condition, ever improving and modding it.

Name: Nocturne (Barston Arzone)
Age: 37
Species: Turian
Job: Captain of ‘The Waltz’
Appearance: What can one say about the pirate captain Nocturne? Your standard turian, Nocturne stands at just over 6”2’ and carries himself with a confidence that one usually finds in a high ranking turian. Nocturne’s skin is a good deal darker then the average member of his species, looking almost black in certain lights despite the fact he’s actually a very dark shade of grey; to help add to the black delusion, Nocturne wears dark blue tattoos and presently these are set in a vaguely swirling pattern that somehow calls to mind musical notes.
Nocturne has pale green eyes.
His fringe is average sized and isn’t in any way remarkable, probably to make up for his unusual colouration.
Personality: Nocturne is a remarkably cheerful individual with something irrepressible about him, it’s hard to truly dislike him after speaking to him for a bit longer though he can be a little abrasive at first. Quick witted and clever, Nocturne is a good captain if not a little brash on occasion! Sometimes Nocturne can leap before really looking, he can allow his emotions to govern his actions but this doesn’t make him a bad captain just an emotional one.
Nocturne sleeps around all the time, he can’t help it for reasons below and he puts little to no stock in sexual relationships, he has a bleak opinion of relationships on a whole and doesn’t have sustained ones with anyone.
History: Nocturne very obviously wasn’t born a pirate!
Nocturne was born as the middle child of an eminent judge and a great military general and it was presumed from his earliest days that he would follow in the footsteps of one of them but this was never to be.
Even as a young man Barston was a little bit rebellious and different and got on better with his uncle then his parents who he never could relate to.
At fifteen Barston did the same as all his and enlisted, choosing to stay in the service, Barston soon climbed to the rank of lieutenant but things went down hill not long after he reached 18.
On a ‘routine’ mission, Barston’s squad came up against a force of mercenaries only for things to go horribly wrong and for Barston to flee to save his life.
An action that would have dire consequences.
The minute he left, Barston’s name was blacklisted, there is no crime worse to most turian’s then military dissertation and once Barston was listed as a deserter his life was on the line.
Late in the same year the other turian’s caught up with Barston and it seemed like his life was over.
Somehow he managed to escape custody and went deeper on the run.
This didn’t last long as Barston was soon captured by batarians and things got worse for him.
Barston was sold to a batarian pimp and soon became a prostitute with his first time being sold off to the highest bidder; the winner was a turian businessman who wasn’t in the best of shape and from that point forwards Barston stopped caring about sex.
He was a prostitute for two years before Aria brought his contract and took the young turian and augmented his already existing skills before sending him out into the universe to make himself.
Since then Barston has been many different people, making his way up the ranks on various ships before becoming a captain in his own right and buying his own ship.
Nocturne doesn’t know what happened behind the scenes, he doesn’t know that all along watching his back has been his uncle living under the alias of Hearne; Hearne had always been introduced to Nocturne as an adopted child but it seems that turian families like to hide things just as much as any other! Hearne is clearly related to Nocturne since he has the same distinctive dark skin as his nephew! Hearne got wind of what was happening to his relation and did something about it rather then leaving him to happen, since then Hearne has continued to keep an eye on him and make sure nothing as disastrous as the encounter with the slavers happens again.

Name: Maithan (Lord Rathan Miros)
Age: 35
Species: Turian
Job: Pilot of ‘The Waltz’
Appearance: Maithan is far more unique then his captain due to the fact that he’s an albino. He’s shorter then the average turian, being just shy of 6 foot and his incredibly pale grey skin is adjourned by white markings that somehow shine out perfectly clearly on his skin.
Maithan is skinnier then Nocturne and he has brown/red eyes instead of the traditional turian blues and greens.
Personality: Maithan is an incredibly shy and withdrawn person, it’s very rare to see him off ‘The Waltz’ which is pretty much his sanctuary. He isn’t as quick as Nocturne but he does have a sarcastic and fairly dry sense of humour when he feels confident enough to use it.
Sadly Maithan also has a case of PTSD or something very similar to it and often stammers his first word when speaking; he also finds it hard to be around krogan.
History: Like Nocturne, Maithan’s past is a lot more complicated then he makes it seem.
As the youngest of five, Rathan was really only ever going to be a trophy husband and his snooty parents didn’t expect anything else of him.
When he was fifteen his parents announced who he was going to be married off to once he turned 16 and so Rathan made a choice and ran away from home; enlisting in the military as Maithan Rheatharn, Rathan joined the first unit he could find and became a soldier.
He was quite happy doing this until he was 23 and his life took a sudden and terrible turn for the worst.
On the surface it was routine mission, head to a planet and apprehend someone who was upsetting the hierarchy; no one had thought to warn them that they were going up against someone the turian government had never been able to get hold of because he was a slippery customer.
The pirate Nova.
They weren’t to know that Aria had hired some krogan’s to protect Nova as he had been identified as Barston and as such needed to be kept safe.
What followed was a bloodbath, the krogan driven by bloodlust wiped out Maithan’s whole unit.
Nova only just stepped up in time to stop the slaughter and save Maithan’s life.
From that day forwards Maithan had always been with Nocturne, Nocturne promised Maithan a job as a pilot when he got a ship out of a sense of guilt.

Name: Lorea Acarus
Age: 230
Species: Asari
Job: Chief engineer of The Waltz
Appearance: Lorea is a pale blue coloured asari with darker eyes.
Standing at average height for an asari with the trademark proportionate body shape, Lorea is quite unremarkable.
Her markings are darker blue, tracing down near her eyes in a neat flick.
She's usually seen in her engineering clothes but can dress to impress when needed.
Personality: Lorea gives as good as she gets which with Nocturne is probably a good thing! The asari engineer is more then capable of standing up for herself which is probably why she's been on The Waltz as long as she has.
She likes to have fun but she managed to get most of her more rebellious behaviour out of her system and it seems like she's maturing into her Matron phase slowly.
She's a good friend and a good ear, someone who likes to help solve problems but like Maithan prefers to stay on the ship.
History: Lorea has done a little of everything like most asari.
She's been the dancer, she's been the mercenary and it wasn't until three years before meeting the crew of the waltz that she finally settled on what she actually wanted to do.
After training to be an engineer, Lorea eventually heard of a ship after an engineer 'The Umbra' and she's been on it ever since. Lorea's seen The Umbra and her captain through a name change and refit, she's patched the reliable ship up and she's enjoyed every minute of it.
Of the main Waltz crew she's also the only one without any demons chasing her which makes her refreshingly normal in amongst the chaos!

((Hopefully this is acceptable, I can switch it up if you don't like it. :3 ))

Anything could happen in Omega. That was what made it exciting. Aria usually had intel on anything of note, and today was no different.

She'd sent a message to The Waltz as soon as the business became hers, and as soon as it was interesting enough to warrant her attention. Not to mention she stood to gain from it, if she played her cards right, and that was the most important thing.

They were an odd pair, this Turian and Quarian, but Aria couldn't be bothered to learn more about them than she needed to. What she knew was that their target was a base of mercenaries that had crossed Aria a few months before and had managed to escape. If they went down and it was known that Aria had arranged it, well, everyone would know she was still not to be crossed. She didn't really care what their reasons were, just that it got done.

All they needed was a ride there and back, maybe support. Certainly The Waltz could handle that.

She looked over Afterlife in her usual spot, arms crossed. The other two in question sat on the side of the couches and the guards kept a very, very careful eye on them. The turian was wearing armor, though the fabric around her legs, hanging down, hid some of it. The Quarian looked like any other, though she wasn't wearing the normal Pilgrimage outfit that most did.

Leaving Maithan on the ship as usual, Nocturne headed past the people waiting outside the nightclub, listening to the whines of complaints from the various species there as he did so.

He had a quick word with the guy checking the guests in and headed through.

After catching a quick word with one of Aria's guards, Nocturne headed up to her upper level, "You called?" He half way drawled, ignoring her company for now because he wasn't an idiot!

"I did." Aria looked over Afiterlife one last time before turning to face Nocturne. She looked him over before sitting, resting her arms along the back of the couch. "I've got a job for you. Shouldn't be too much trouble." The corner of her mouth twitched into the barest smirk. "Should keep you on your toes. But the creds are good."
PostPosted: Wed Jan 11, 2012 6:58 am

"But I like trouble," Came the playfully mournful reply to that as he moved to sit down near her, nearer then most would in fact! "What do you need me to do exactly?"

"I'm sure you'll find a way to make it more interesting if you find it boring." Aria would have rolled her eyes if not for keeping up appearances.

"The job's to take a pair to a moon. They have the coordinates. There's a base there. When all the people inside taken care of, you're all finished. The contact has maps of the base and an estimation of it all."
PostPosted: Wed Jan 11, 2012 11:53 am

He'd been picking at his teeth absently for a bit before looking over at the two people nearby, "That sounds ... pretty boring," He admitted with a lazy tone of voice but it was worth remembering that Nocturne's reputation was well earned! "But if that's what you want me to do then sure, I'll have Maithan get the Waltz ready,"

"Good." Aria lowered her arms, resting them in her lap. "By the way, these mercs made an attempt on me awhile back. They're cornered and stupid." She waved her hand Lilat and Roma, looking at Nocturne. "Those are the two you're going to take."
PostPosted: Thu Jan 12, 2012 3:18 am

"Would you like me to get a little revenge for you then?" The turian asked with a smirk that suggested he knew the answer to that one, ignoring the girls for now.

"Just make sure they all catch a case of the dead. They got lucky once. It won't happen twice." She looked over her shoulder, at the club. "I can't very well leave, or I'd take care of it myself." She waved a hand in the air. No matter what, she was certain that it'd get taken care of. She didn't give something like this to people she couldn't trust.

"I'm sure they'll all catch it, I'll even throw in a bomb to make sure," He offered as he moved to stand. "Anything else?"

"They're picking something up, but that's there business. All I care about is that the gang is dead. though if the building stays intact, we can use it. So keep that mind." She shrugged a shoulder.

"I didn't say it would be a big bomb," He pointed out with a chuckle, "Just not very nice for anyone inside."

"Well just keep that all in mind." Aria shook her head and made a small dismissive wave.
