This mountain houses many Youkai. The tengus such as Aya and Momiji have come from this place. The tengu have made it their home since the vanishment of the oni to the underground. Another thriving species are the kappa,among which Nitori Kawashiro is known for her engineering. Feral youkai could dwell the area. Human try to avoid the mountain,but to youkai's this is but a heaven.

Another oddity is the shrine that appeared atop this mountain. The shrine that houses Kanako and Suwako. The miko here,Sanae,competes with the Hakurei shrine's Reimu, or so it seems. Their quarrel evades me.
