heart Spring Break Party Room! heart
Happy Easter! / Happy Passover! Tomorrow, I am celebrating Easter at my grandparents house. It'll be a small gathering with just my aunts, uncles, and cousins. Just recently my aunt Carmen had her second daughter. So, I am excited to have a new baby cousin! Her name's Scarlet Rose. I forgot their last name. sweatdrop . Hopefully we'll be able to see her tomorrow. But Scarlet was just recently born it's possible we may not. So, that'll be our easter. And for spring break my sister & godson has the week following Easter off. Therefore hopefully my godson gets to come over and I can spoil him to bits. I'll let my sister share what we'll be up to during the week.
I am breaking the ice. . .so please share your Easter/Passover/ or spring break plans with us! Share! Share! Share! The first after me being not my sister might get a gift. . . . blaugh

Hello Peoples!!!!!
Today, at my grandparents I had Rainbow Cake and face painted some kids
As my sister said, I shall be sharing of what we are up to. mrgreen
Monday or Tuesday: Nothing or possibly movies.
Wednesday or Thursday: Prom Dress shopping 4laugh heart And hopefully movies again.
Friday: Go to an art exibit. I hope.
And for the rest I hope sometime this week I get to see my boyfriend. And give my dogs and cat a bathe.
Now how does that sound darlings. cool

Lucky you!
My Easter was spent reading up on Classical Mythology for my exam on Tuesday, while taking study breaks watching Season 1 Sailor Moon and eating chocolate! razz My parents left for Mexico last night, so I won't be hearing from them for another week. This week, I'll be heading to my boyfriend's house after exams to see him before I leave for the summer. Thats about it!
I did change my background to a buneary so I am sort of celebrating! lol

Well, in my opinion Easter was alright. LOL. My sister had a better time there because she got to face paint kids who called her the "tattoo artist". LOL. I am looking forward to my godson visiting, which I hope does happen. I personally would have loved watching the first season of Sailor Moon.
So parents left to Mexico huh? My parents went to Mexico either last year or the year before. Classical Mythology? Sounds fun! For what class? My sister has Folklore this year I'm guessing she hasn't shared. I told her it'd be fun and will be having a project covering a mythology they haven't covered "Hawaiian Mythology". Which is kind of odd. LOL. Oh, and where are you going this summer? I'm curious?

Awh! How old is your God son? smile I actually have my exam in literally 45 minutes, so I shouldn't be on but I'm taking a quick break sweatdrop The class is literally Classical Mythology, which is a lot of fun! Greek mainly but a little bit of Roman mixed in. Sailor Moon is actually based on the Greek Myth of Selene and Endymion. Selene fell in love with Endymion and she watched him rather then doing her runs in her chariot. Thus Zeus gave Endymion eternal sleep and youth so that she would always be able to watch over him. Its really cute. But creepy...
Oh nice! I've never been to Mexico but the pictures look nice. Folklore is a cool class, she should let me know how that goes, especially the Hawaiian Mythology! I looked a little bit into it last year, its really interesting.
This summer I'm leaving for Ottawa to work at a kids store. I like being there a lot, its less humid then where I am now- although my friends won't be around. Do you have any plans for the summer?

As his godmother I should know his age. sweatdrop LOL. Although, I do know he's a second grader which means he's probably eight going to be nine later this year. Yes, that sounds right because I'm twenty-eight.
Classical Mythology, that class sounds like a lot of fun. I would love it. I'm probably one of the few like yourself to know that Sailormoon is based on Greek mythology of Selene & Endymion. I had made that connection many years ago myself before researching myself online. LOL. xp It was a time I didn't have anything better to do. sweatdrop Most of the Greek myth's are quite facsinating but creepy at the same time. LOL.
And about my sister's class. I'm sure she'll read this and share with you how everything goes.
And your summer plans sound great. I hope we're not losing you for an entire summer here on gaia? Lunar would suffer more than Wolf Moon. I'm not sure what to do with Wolf Moon at this point. I'll pm you "why". And about my summer plans. . .well I hope between now and than I find work. I need to find work desperately. . .so I can get out of home. . .travel to a particular destination in mind. . .and feel better about my situation as an adult. Because right now. . .I'm pretty down about it. Right now, gaia is my go to place. Sad, I know. . .right?

IceBreaker Questions
1. What is your favorite Animal?
I love animals in general. My favorite animal is between the wolf & tiger. I would love a career where I am able to work around or help these animals. Although, I have decided to probably take a different route. Our dogs & cats need just as much help too.
2. What is your favorite outdoor hobby or activity?
Currently, my outdoor hobbies or activities surround my dogs and cat. When I was younger I was much more active and play softball beginning at age 5 until I was 18yrs old. I love the outdoors when it agrees with me. Unfortunately, I am one of those who has suffered from allergies through my life. That didn't keep me from loving the outdoors but some seasons are rougher than others. I live in the suburbs of the city of Los Angeles, California. We are accessable to beaches, deserts, forests, hills, mountains, Lakes, etc. . .
3. What outdoor environment do you prefer? (ex: Ocean, Forest, Desert. . .)
Because I live in Los Angeles the beach isn't very far around me. The beach is about 15-20mins away and I several to choose from too. Of coarse many of you have heard of Malibu, Ventura, Santa Monica, Long Beach, Huntington Beach, Laguna Beach, Del Mar, La Jolla. . .& more. Some closer to me than others. cool Unforunately, I'm not a good swimmer therefore I'm a land lovers sadly. I've have been lucky to visit the beautiful forest around me like Big Bear, Arrowhead, and even further north like Yosemite and Lake Tahoe. Although again the high desert is my fav! It's two hours away, near family, and the stars are better visible.
4. What do you do to help our Earth? Do you Recycle?
When I was younger I was more involved. I use to plant trees with my community. In high school I did several beach, park, and community clean ups which I miss doing. I currently lack the transportation of my own to do as I please or else I'd volunteer my free time more especially at the local animal shelter.
And yes, I do recycle. When I had to the whole tax thing with my first job. Showing reciepts that you recycle helps give you more money. At least here in Cali it does. Economy isn't very friendly these days and today without a job. Recycling gives me money. sweatdrop
I would also like to add. A couple years ago I was lucky enough to visit the beautiful Hawaiian island of Maui. Maui, took my breath away when it came to scenery and ocean wildlife. Just beautiful. Someday, I wish to visit Canada or Alaska for more scenery and wildlife. I just want to travel. . . biggrin

Ice Breaker Questions
1. What is your favorite Animal?
Snow Leopard, I find them absolutely mesmerizing. They had two at the Toronto Zoo when I went with my family, I was absolutely adamant about going to see them!
2. What is your favorite outdoor hobby or activity?
Horseback riding. I LOVE being out trail riding! I'm used to a Western saddle, when I was little I went to a camp where they taught us to lasso a cow. I can't do it now though thats for sure. Although I adore going out hiking, baseball, swimming, biking, etc. Still nothing beats hitting the trail with a horse.
3. What outdoor environment do you prefer?
Strangely although I'm afraid of heights, my favourite environment thus far has been between Samaria Gorge in Crete and the Canadian Shield. The lakes in Northern/Central Ontario are beautiful. A book series I've been writing takes place in a setting very similar to where we go cottaging in the summer. Samaria Gorge is a beautiful, I would recommend it to anyone going into that region.
4. What do you do to help our Earth? Do you Recycle?
I am not able to do too much now, but I do plan on giving to the World Wildlife Foundation. Also, when I have my own place I will be getting a dog from the local SPCA. I do recycle and keep up-to-date with environmental issues, specifically WWF, Jane Goodall's work, and Green Peace.

My current AVI is my earth day one! I can't make myself a snow leopard so I decided to make Kora as I see her! Kora is my favourite character to write about and RP as. I actually am currently RPing as her in my DnD game as a halfling rouge. Furthermore, in a book I've been writing a an RP guild I ran a few years ago, The Dasshi, Kora was a main character.
Kora (or the Greek- Korë/Kopɛ) is another name for Persephone, daughter of Demeter, and a Goddess of the Earth and Queen of the underworld. Kora is thus an Earth user, connected to the earth's energies and currents, using them in defence and offence. She often swings through the tree branches and is able to create a guard of leaves and stones around her as she fights. In some older RPs here in the Wolf guilds, she has been able to split open the ground, blend her own being with a tree and possess it in combat, and even so far as to control the roots of all plants around her.
So, for Earth day, this is the way Kora looks to me when I picture her! As my favourite character to write about, Earth Day is the perfect time to celebrate her.

My screen name should give my answer away but I like big cats. My favorite big cat is a Lion.

I like to go riding dirt bikes, four-wheelers, and jet ski's.

I like hanging out by the lake myself. Have a bon fire, fish, ski, swim, and camp.

I agree between school and work. When I was in high school I was volunteering at my local animal shelter. I would bath cats and dogs, clean the kennels, feed them, take them walking, and help out at the adoption fairs. Now, I just sort my trash carefully so everything goes in the right trash container.

If you are interested in environmental issues at all, I would suggest looking further into these issues. Much can be learnt from the Arctic, but we need to do something before that ecosystem is completely lost. All of our favourite animals, Polar Bears, Ringed Seals, Walruses, Arctic Foxes, Wolves, will be lost.

Takes walks with my girl, walk my dogs, and go to the beach. Oh yah! lol!

The Beach. where I can have bon fires and make smores. Even have smores cake too. Yummy!

Collect cans and bottles to recycle. Help out at school with Enviromental Club and Art Club with our up coming garden.
