Shadow enters the undisicoved meadow with Sage. He looks around in amazement. "Wow Sage look at this sight. Wonder what it will become and what its name will be." Shadow looks at Sage in wonder and with a smile. "This land has much to offer. Lots of space,beauty,food,water, and what ever else it apears." Shadow pulls out a desert him and his people used to eat. He offers Sage some. "Would you like some?" He asks holding one out to her. "I forget what its called, but I call it Shadow delight. Its my own variation of the traditional recipe." Shadow smiles nervously.

Sage and Shadow happily explored forward together through the forest from the coast and straight into this nice grassy pasture-like meadow. Sage's was speechless at the beautiful splendor before them. She agreed with Shadow about the land having plenty to offer space, beauty, food, water, and more.
"Yes, I agree. Druid has really lead us upon a land with plenty to give this pack. It's the kind of home we've been searching for since our homeland." she shared when Shadow pulled out a dessert. It was random and Sage looked at him and his dessert in surprise. "What's in it?" she asked curiously. She pulled Shadow to sit with her on a flat bolder by a small pond. Just before them appeared a herd of horses and Sage touched him softly. "Look. . ." she whispered and pointed."

Shadow looks at Sage and smiles. "Ok I will tell you some of the ingredients. Theres honey that when I made this just few days ago was fresh.Theres some fresh ground cinnamon and other seasonings. Theres fresh milk from wild cows.A little tiny bit of chocolate for a hint of taste from it.Some other things and in the center of this soft pastry is a sweet gooey crunchy center, but not too sweet and has good ammount of flavor."
He sits with Sage as he tells some of the ingridients. Then he looks at the horses. "There beautiful..,but you'r used that....uhhmmmm I mean should I call them over?"

Sage listens to Shadow share about the ingredients in his dessert which sounds delicious. She wasn't sure what to try first and when noticing the horses in front of them. She was curious about how they could get closer to them. She looked to Shadow knowing he pobably knew how to get closer.
"So, I'm guessing you might have a way to get closer to the horses. That would be pretty neat. Can you show me how? I'm sure going over to them in our wolf forms wouldn't be a good idea. Maybe we could convice Druid to capture and tame some for the pack huh?" she said sharing the idea to him.

Shadow hands Sage one of the two deserts he has left. "Getting closer to them....not exactly what I had in mind. I was going to call them closer.." Shadow smiles and stands and his eyes change color and glow and he makes noises that sound somewhat like horse calls. He is calling the horses to them.

Sage was about to enjoy her dessert when Shadow hands her his too. Sage looked at him curiously wondering what he was about to do. She watched Shadow get himself closer to the horses and begin to call them. Many of the horses that were grazing and playing stopped to investigate his call. They tilted their heads toward them with curiousity and the bravest approached them. Sage grew excited and gasped in surprise at this special gift Shadow had not shared with her yet.
"Shadow. . . ." she said quietly amazed. "How did you? I didn't know. . .you could." she said still surprised. A horse approached her quietly and she reached out to pet it. She enjoyed petting the horse and looked to Shadow happily.

Shadow smiles. "It's one of my gifts. I am glad you like." Shadow takes a few seeds out of a pouch and tosses them on the ground and they turn into apple trees for the horses. Shadow pets one of them. "I don't think we would need force to have them as pets. Do you agree?"

Sage approaches Shadow very impressed with his unique gifts. She smiled while approaching a horse to gently pet one.
"No, you are right. We don't have to force them to be our pets. Although, we would still need Druid's permission to herd them for our own uses." she explained. "It would help the pack to have such an intelligent animal to assist us. They can help us work the land, carry heavy loads, and we'll give them protection in return." she smiled petting one as a young foal bravely approached them both. "What a brave little one." she laughed. "How many do you count in this herd? About twenty, including a couple foals." she asked him as she began making a head count. "You think they'll follow?" she asked curious.

Shadow smirks. "There are twenty two in total. Four young, two in old age, one wounded and ones sick. And yes they will follow." Shadow smiles at Sage. He gently pokes her tummy. "Do you like the sweet dessert?" He smiles nervously.

Shadow made an exact count of twenty two horses in the herd and she began to think about how to lead them back. Their leader was a handsome midnight black stallion whom she thought was perfect for her brother Druid. The stallion was protective but their gentle approach and offering them apples allowed him to slowly trust them. When Shadow poked her tummy and asked if she had enjoyed the dessert. She giggled replying and shys away from him.
"Yes, I enjoyed the dessert and as you can see. I am finished with mine and still holding yours. I'll hand it over if you promise not to poke me. I'm ticklish." she said keeping away. "Now, you see that stallion the leader. I think he's perfect for Druid." she shared and approached the stallion softly and begins talking to him. The stallion was cautious and kept a distance. A honey colored mare with a white tail and mane approached Sage trusting her. "What a sweet girl. Hello." she smiled. The mare slowly trusted her and evening allowing her to mount her. "Shadow look!" she said softly in excitement. "Choose one her ride with me. Perhaps she'll convince the stallion to follow us." she stated.

Shadow smiles. "Okay I wont poke you."Shadow laughs. "Maybe I should ride on the same horse. To make sure you dont fall." Shadow says teasingly. "Can't have a delicate beautiful flower getting hurt" Shadow says half teasingly.

Sage couldn't help herself to laugh at Shadow's adorable attempts with her. She glances down at Shadow with a smile than offers him a hand to ride with her.
"Your a gentleman Shadow. If you promise not to poke me. You may come and ride with me." she smiled and winked. Sage was very excited and couldn't wait to bring the herd to the Druid campsite.

Shadow smiles. "Okay I wont poke you."Shadow takes Sages hand and gets on the horse with her. "Do you have any special talents,powers,or abilities?" Shadow asks politely and inquisitively. Shadow wonders what her answer will be.

Sage was glad that Shadow agreed to not poke her and invited him upon the horse with her. She began to lead the herd toward camp when Shadow asked her "Do you have any special talents, powers, or abilities?". She turned back with a smile to look back at the following herd and than at him before turning back forward.
"Well, my brothers and I come from a power linage of magical beings. Our grandfather was a powerful archmage in our pack and our father was a strict apprentice and teacher upon us all especially Druid. Warlock, Mandrake, and studied vigoriously as expected while Druid's dream was to become a general. The idea was unexcepting to my father which lead to Druid's excile." she shared. " My mother was personally in charge of my teachings and my specialties are Earthly abilities, Healer, Gardener/Herbologist, and excellent writer." she shared. "Something, we have in common don't we? A bunch of specialties I wish to share with my children someday but not strictly like my father." she smiled looking at the bracelet Shadow created for her.
