I know it's early but I thought I would take a stab at hosting an event since the last one fell flat and came too late in the planing.

I was thinking of a Pot 'O Gold Raffle. I have Items I don't use or have no use for that I would put in the proverbial pot at the end of the rainbow.
Also a tektek contest and a hidden four leaf clover in certain posts.
All Ideas are welcome as well as help with a roleplay plot.

I want to be a Fairy Leprechaun

Character Name: Gwendolyn the Faerie Queen
Character personality: Happy, outgoing, friendly and sweet, but anger her and you will be sorry.
Gender: Female
Experience: Dream of Flying room, co-host, V-day event co-host. Would be host of the winter event but it fell through.

If you were making an RP for the March event you could base it on some sort of celebration of the fairy courts, Seelie and Unseelie (or, simpler, Summer & Winter). People could come as any fae they want or just as themselves, and the main host could be a powerful Leprechaun who's there to grant wishes (hand out treasure from the pot of gold) in exchange for deals with the guests. The deals could be anything random at all, like "bump so many times in this thread" or "go make nice with this fella over there" etc.

I was thinking of doing something like that. It would be faeries and Leprechauns and a treasure hunt to find so many pieces of gold because an evil creature stole all the gold and left a trail. I have set it at like 20+ pieces of gold and they get a special prize. Doing a raffle and I will have crystal boxes for prizes. The ever powerful tektek contest. themed green.

I of course would be a green fae and the co-hosts could be either Leprechaun or Fae.

The general plot is the one time every year the Fae queen and the Leprechauns get together and party. Only this time someone decided to steal the Leprechaun's pot o' gold.

Sort of a st. Patrick's day concept the only other thing I was think of was Ostara for spring equinox. But Ostara also has an egg hunt involved and felt that would be best left for whoever does the April event.

Let me know what you think and any other suggestions. Cause the Fae celebrate the same holidays pagans do and the next big one is Beltane.

Thanks. I am a bit more calm now cause I got word that family member is doing better. I will put together a sign up sheet and let me know if I need to add anything to it. I will try to have it up either tomorrow or Monday at the latest.

Event. Tektek contest for king and queen : as long as it's green it's good Winner will get a march letter
Gold hunt: Someone ran off with the gold leaving little nuggets behind. There will be a total of (well haven't figured that out yet. but it won't be a lot.) the person who finds them all will get a Crystal box or something else I don't use from my invo.
Raffle: Have about 100 tickets maybe more charge like 10g a ticket. a min of 10 tickets per person maybe more depending on how many tickets I have. Three winners and not the same person twice Crystal boxes will be an option along with a few other Items that I will have out.

Let me know what you all think and any other ideas you may have.
Art work would be great. will be working on a few different layouts this weekend and take a vote on which you all like the best.

It will be in a random post and they have to pm either me or a co host They have to let you know on what page they found it on and the post number it was in. (Ex: Pg 30 post 5.) then we check and see if they are right. a list will be made on the main page of who found them and how many but not where.

Oh, and this will be a separate post from the RP or will it be added to the end of a regular post?
Also, would it be only the main host (you) posting it or would each co-host have "so many" nuggets to also post before the end of the event?
