I was asleep until about 2am on the first.
I'm a weird sleeper. I stay awake until I start falling asleep, then I tell anyone who's in the same room that I'm going to sleep. Lay back wherever I'm sitting, close my eyes and I'm asleep. xP

I went to bed like normal, the rest of family stayed up & played video games. Of course at midnight there was gunfire in the distance. Other than that, a normal day.

I stayed up, used cousin's laptop then went to bed. Also, this is the year the world is supposedly supposed to end. I doubt that it would end this year, but it can.

i played video game and went to sleep, and the whole end of the world thing isnt real, the end of the mayan calendar marks the end of our current great cycle and the start od the new great cycle. it's really a huge party in the mayan culture.

It was on the news sometime last year. They said that if the world was going to end, we should go on as usual and not do anything that could get us jail time or die. Yep. I'm going to be laughing at all the people who did terrible stuff and get in trouble because they thought the world was going to end.
Anyways, yeah?

I slept. Heard a few fireworks but then I was out and dead to the world.
I love being a heavy sleeper. cat_biggrin

Isn't the end of the mayan calender in December of 2012? Pretty sure the exact date is 12-21-2012. Oh well, I'll most likely hijack a car and drive around my neighborhood when that happens.
As for on New Years Eve, I worked. When it came to the ball dropping in Madison Square Garden and everywhere else, I drank. I fixed a spritzer consisting of cheap white wine and off brand sprite and passed out on the couch. Was invited to go to about 3 pretty awesome parties. 2 of which I later found out were busted by local authorities. Yea... I really missed out. wink
