 It was cold and the snow glittered in the moonlight. Kunzite sat on a patch of dead yellow grass under an old pine tree. He could've used a hat, scarf, and mittens, but his fur and suit kept him warm enough. On the night of a new moon, no one could see the moon in the sky. Since he hated it anyway, those were his favorite nights. Tonight, however, it was the night after the new moon. There was a thin, white waxing crescent in the sky. He could make out the faint outline of the rest of the moon, because of how the Earth reflected light onto it. "Beautiful." It made him sick to admit to it. He thought a place like that should look as bad as it was, like a bottle fly or a cockroach.

 A cold wind Blew right past lighten, he wrapped his long scarf around his neck as his candles lit his way in the snow.
lighten only come out at night as he loves his candles to shine brightly.
Walking through the snow he see's the old pine tree, that he always passes on the way to the lake. this visit seemed some one different than his others, he felt like there was some one else near by, not thinking twice he passed by and headed north toward the lake, this time of year it is always frozen over and he loves to walk across the ice onto the other side. peace and quit awaited him.
He hopped away wrapped up as his candle light sparkled in the dark.

While he sat, Kunzite saw a pair of warm, bright lights head towards the lake. He thought they were will o' the wisps, until he saw the soft glow of candlewax and light reflecting off of golden chains. Then, he knew it must have been another Lock, like himself.
Since he didn't have anything better to do, he decided he would go to the lake too. He saw the other Lock on the opposite site and called out to him. "Good evening, sir."

Lighten Was on the other side of the lake and about to go to his little spot untill he heard a voice echo from the direction he came from, Slightly startled by the unknown voice he turned around to see who or what it was.
His candle light lit the floor around him and shon on the solid lake surface, making a lighty reflection on the smooth slippery ice.
His eye where nearly always closed he would only open them when he has too, normall lighten would depend on sound and the vibrations on the ground to guild him while he walks, his candles comfort him, also helping Guild his way when he has to open his eyes.
In the dark light gently opened his delecate eyes to see who was calling him, a dark Silouette was in the distance, but he could see nothing more, to keep his eye open for too long would cause too much pain.
" Well good evening, and who may ask am i speaking to?" He returned a polite but uneasy reply back to the stranger, as he clamped his eyes shut again and raised his right ear slightly

"I am Kunzite. Who are you, if you don't mind me asking?" He thought it would be much easier to carry a conversation if they were closer. When he looked down at the lake, it appeared to be frozen solid, but he knew he would've been pissed if he fell in and had to swim out, so he began slowly walking around to the other side instead.

" My name is lighten" Listening to the sound of footsteps getting further away he was alittle confused, he backed up alittle bit Surly if this new character wished to talk with him he would have walked over the frozen ice, lighten back slowly down the small slope that lead to the nice quite place, he lifted both ears too catch any nearby sounds and listen intensly, he felt some what uneasy, and unsafe right now. he was never very good at making friends and night time may be his favourite time, but it is also the most dangeroud with no idea who he was just talking to other than a name to go on.

Finally, Kunzite got to the other side. It was tiresome and all that moving around made his his legs itch and warmed his body. Now that he was closer, he could see Lighten wasn't at ease. He didn't want to seem like a creeper, especially since he knew was one. He was a good five on the 1-10 creeper scale. "Sorry about that. I didn't want to fall in." He was aloof as always.

Lighten heard footsteps coming closer and then that voice appeared again , he jumped slightly and backed up into a tree. " Ouch !" he lightly growled at himself for being stupid enough to back into a tree he knew was there, his eyes were hurting and the candles here beginning to get to hot and bright for his eyes to settle, he carefully lowers his head to the cold snowy ground and puts out the first candle, the light slowly fade from his face and eyes and the cool breeze works it's sweet magic in making his eyes feel more relaxed, he lay down on his belly with his scarf wrapped around tightly as he rested his now aching back. ".. well you could have said something. never sneak up on me it is unfair, i am almost Blind i will have you know! " Lighten said in a calm but in a blatant way.
he lifts up his right ear to see what the new comer has to say for himself as he sense that he is not really interested in being here or that he doesn't really want to be around lighten that much. Lighten shakes the unnerving feeling from him and awaits a reply.

Kunzite face-palmed when he saw Lighten hit a tree. After he heard what Lighten said, though, he felt awful. Now that he knew Lighten was blind, he was a lot more understanding. He thought Lighten was uncomfortable simply because Kunzite was being creepy and kind of tactless. "I'm going to be honest and say that I'm new to all this. Please tell me how I can make it up to you."

Lighten stood up carefully and shook the snow from off him slowly, How where you to know that i was Blind unless i told you. Dont worry about it, now you know for future reference."
Lighten walked for wards slowly then continued towards his usual place, there was a light faint trail where he usually walked. He has been this way that often the trail was still there at the coldest of times.
It was the only way to find his spot of little heaven for he stumbled on to him many years ago when he way young and healthy. " would you like to accompany me ? or are you going to scare someone else at this time of night ? " he said lightly with a slight hint of laughter in the last question.
