So when I was in high school, only the 'goths' had piercings on their face, skinny/preppy girls had belly button piercings, etc. etc. Piercings were scarce.
So what do you think of it now? I was standing outside my old high school waiting for my little brother to come out. 3 out of 4 kids had a piercing. A ring on the side of their lip, a Monroe, snakebites, nose, etc.
What do you guys think? Or am I just crazy?
(this thread is a part of the contest xD)

I want my mouth pierced so I can sew my mouth shut, oh that would be so freaky/hot, "normally" I would just wear like three rings in the bottom though. but yeah piercings used to be goth/freak ... maybe a hippy might have a nose pierced now everyone even my bosses preppy prada wherein wife has her little jewel in her nose, Or the really preppy chicks that knock there tongue bar bell against there teeth, I HATE that o.O

That would be pretty sexy. I've always wanted the middle of my bottom lip piercing. I had it in high school but I want the bar, which I never did.
OMG I hate that too. I swear they thing it's a gansta piercing.

as much as i don't like hipsters, preppies, and other less desirables stealing trends, at the same time, i feel the increased proliferation of piercings is, as a whole, a good thing.
I won't complain about there being more pierced women out there.

There's no good uniqueness like I felt it used to be.
