Rouki stepped out of Hermes cabin inhailing the thick morning air. She hadn't been up this early in a long time. The last time was when she was fleeing from the Roman camp after being discovered as a Greek. She spun her sword quietly. She hadn't able to use it much for it was clearly a weapon of Hades and she had not been openly claimed by him, at least not yet. You see Rouki had a curse she was forced to bare for being a Hades kid. Some got off easy, like her Half brother Nico and Half sister Bianca, who just had a fatal flaw. Her other half sister, Hazel, had the curse of greed, She made metals and gems of the Earth randomly appear and all who touched them died. Rouki's curse was a bit different. Since Persephone and Thanatos had concocted it, it was unnatural. Though these to had cursed may Hades children in the past, that seemed to pose a threat. It was the curse of the Underworld as many called it. She had been subjected no since she was nine, to forceibly turned into a dog every night and return human during the day. This is where rouki figured the myth of werewolves came from but just figured humans blew it out of proportion. She had always slept in to relax her tired self of her curse, but today was different. It was the winter solstice and all the Demi-gods left at camp would usually get to go to Olympus, but these times now were different. The romans had arrived a few weeks earlier and they had begun to work on another ship to send an army of demigods to rescue the chosen seven. Rouki had tried to "help" as mush as possible though her job was the opposite of what the others were doing. While they were building, dhe was destroying. She had been chosen by the Giants to delay the progress of the halfblood army to allow the giants to prepare their forces and destroy Greece. Rouki still didn't know how long she needed to stall for she received no other orders from them. She headed out to the building area and began pulling out bottles from her bag. She swung them carefully, releasing them midswing at the work the demigods had done. Greek fire covered the creations, as Rouki threw more bottles of it. She laughed loudly, sneaking into the forest. She would go hunting for monsters to give herself an aliabi. Being a child of Hades was hard work, and a spy even harder. Rouki sat down in the woods, her stepfather on her mind. he always seemd to be their lately, since she had watched gorgons kill him. They had gone after Rouki when she was on a theft mission, and Matt had jumped into protect her. They easily killed him, saying how she was next. Her father had come that night to protect her. To save her from the horrible monsters. She remembered begging him to bring Matt back, her true father. She could remember his response echoing through her mind.
