Since I didn't see anything, anywhere else I thought this would be a good place to start. Maybe we can make some RP's together with this information.
My name is Flutter, I'm 21 and joined to make a RP with wereanimals, so lots of furries XD I need to make some arts for it first and get an idea of what storyline I want to follow, so I'll post when I get some time off work.
I want to learn Japanese, I read manga with lots of smut, collect things and I like BJD's. smile

I suppose I shall go next; I go by Griffin, one of the vice captains of the guild. I've been writing for about as long as I've been drawing and I consider myself half-way decent at both.
I love all things fantasy and I collect good stories. Could be myths, fables or modern literature, If anyone is stuck for a good book to read I can probably suggest one.
Despite my love of fantasy I'm actually in a zoology degree and university (go fig right?) because above fantasy, I love animals more. I hope to be a conservationist when school is over and done. ^^
My rps have been pretty much all fantasy-based, some are tributes to books or series but most are of my own devising.
For those who join my rps; I have a habit of sounding really scary as far as rules go, but I'm really a big softie whee
If anyone has questions about the guild or the Imperium thread I would be happy to answer them...tada! *strikes pose*

I'm nineteen and am a couch potato.
I really should be writing my plot right now, but I can't get all my ideas to agree with one another right now.
I like fantasy role plays and every once in awhile I break down and do a gushy romance rp.
I also don't like pushy people.

I'm Stoic. I've been on Gaia since early in '05 and almost all of that time has been spent roleplaying. In fact that's really the only reason I come on Gaia, is for the roleplaying. I've got a couple of roleplays I've been running, and I think I've done okay with them. I'm seriously into fantasy, and science fiction. I love to read, I suggest Brandon Sanderson's Mistborn series, it blew my mind. I like music, listening to Kishida Kyoudan and The Akeboshi Rockets right now. My music taste covers just about everything except for rap and country, I really like heavy rock like In This Moment and Avenged Sevenfold though. I'm an avid fan of many anime and manga. I'm a Gundam fanatic. I like D&D, though my group is playing Pathfinder now, just started playing my first real archer yesterday. Uhh...? I can't think of anything else. Oh, I should mention that I am old by Gaian standards, 24... I think, I forget sometimes... Pretty sure. Born in '87.
Also, Griffin's lying. She's an exceptional roleplayer and artist. She's just modest. She's also co-threadmaster of my Imperium roleplay for any of you that might join.

Hey there folks~!
Name's Will, friend's call me Chase, most don't call me at all lol.
I'm an old-school Gaia fanatic from back in '04. Came here when I was in later stages of middleschool and have maintained an "off again on again" relationship with the site after my old net haunts died out due to "lol drama". Became an avid RPer when that particular itch needed scratching after the old haunt passed into the night and have found various games to hold my focus since. I've sadly never finished an RP that started nor have I seen a character through their entire arc, I aim to change that at some point.
As far as RP preferanced go, I love Fantasy settings most of all, but I'll play anything as long as it strikes a chord within me. My biggest weakness is for cookie cutter fantasy plots with interesting characters.
I love to test the perceptions of things most of all. From over aching questions of what is good or evil to something both simple and off the wall such as "What is brown?" - If an RP makes me ask such questions then its doing its job right.
Off of the Gaia landscape, I'm a male of age 23, I come to you from an old closet, sitting on a bookcase, typing on an old crappy laptop as I gaurd computer equipment. Translation: I'm a computer tech for a living and just happen to be low man on the totem pole at the moment. Fine with me, I've got the back to supprort such a lifestyle.
Here's hoping to find some really facinating folks to play with and getting to know all of ya!

Call me Alice.
I'm 23 and I am a graphic designer.
I joined gaia solely to roleplay.
I am an avid fiction reader. I don't have a preference of genre, if the
story interests me (and the cover is well designed XD) I buy it.
Other than reading, I like videogames, anime, films, photography,
writing, travelling, math... o.O
I have also recently developed an appreciation for show Misfits.
It is just awesome, a bit vulgar, but awesome.
I speak a decent amount of French, and I have a good base in Japanese.
However, I would really like to learn German, and maybe Hungarian or
Mandarin? One day...
I will leave it at that for now.

I'm called DeResolutions, more commonly, DeRezz'd or Dee.
Also go by the name Zed. Always have.
Been on this site since '04, over a few accounts. This is the only one that stays true and blue, and also unhacked.
I'm an 18-year's-young Canadian musician. I'm both of English and Aboriginal direct descent. When asked about that, I can only really answer that it's ironic that I stole my own land. I play House-genre electric music, remixing myself. I play the guitar, drumkit, tenor saxophone, clarinet, and some piano. Although, only the guitar and the drums (sometimes piano when I don't want to synthesis it) makes it into my songs.
I plan on being a teacher one day, with such subjects of Literature, Culture (Preferably First Nations or anthropology in general), History, and Music.
When it comes to roleplaying, the reason why we're all here, I try to throw my own brand into everything I do.
Genres? I'm about happy with everything. But at the same time, I nitpick the hell out of everything. Little details can throw me off.
My characters seem to all carry a familiar feel. Normally an interesting bloke with colorless hair. I take that albino bloke and throw him into what ever situation at you, the threadmaster, throw at me. Fantasy? Brilliant. Missing some archers or rogues or heavy-bladers? Not any more. Sci-Fi. Missing a Ship-Captain, AI, Bounty Hunter? I'm in.
I try to give my character some tragic twist. Be it a ghost trapped in the world of the mortals, a harbinger caught up in his work, a damaged machine trying to operate/understand, or more recently, a soldier with a heavy case of shell-shock.
Every character needs a goal to overcome. I try to base my character off of that. Some unreachable goal to keep him trudging in the mud.
That's about all I can think of...

be here), I'm a graphic designer, a Gaian geezer both by account
age (04) and IRL age 24 going 25. I'm a huge nerd and music lover.
Other random things about me, I have Asperger's and a friend with
High Functioning Autism, so it annoys me seeing people make
fun of those on the spectrum. Oh, and people who call it a** burgers.

Hello all! Big thanks to Griffin for inviting me, by the way.
You can call me dark_chocolateangel, or really any sort of variation of that. I'm really not picky about nicknames, so long as I know you're talking to me~ I've been a Gaian since late '06, though I didnt start getting into RPs until about '07 or '08. Now they're pretty much the only reason I still get on Gaia, mainly because all the interesting people I meet through them.
As you probably guessed, my favorite type of genre is fantasy. I absolutely adore Modern Fantasy, and I love Sci-Fi with an absolute burning passion. One of my bigger flaws is that I can be a bit...overly picky about RP plots, mainly if I've seen the same exact plot over and over again despite clicking dozens of different threads for a roleplay. I'm not PICKY picky I'm just...picky? xD I'm more prone to playing male characters since I started out my roleplaying career in the Yaoi department, but I can play either gender relatively well. My characters are generally hard headed optimists unless stated otherwise, because they're really, really fun to play. I usually have epiphanies about what to do with them as the RP progresses, so watch out! You never know what I might plan on doing~
Off Gaia, I'm a 16 year old going through high school with a terrible anime addiction and an even worse addiction to Vocaloids. I aspire to one day publish a video game trilogy that I came up with as well as a book series. And that's all we're going into with that subject~

Why hello there people!
I'm Mystic Requiem, but I prefer to be called Mystic. Req is fine, but I prefer Mystic. I've been on Gaia since 06 and started to get into roleplaying around the summer of 07, but didn't really get into it until 08. I prefer RPs of the fantastical variety, but fine with just about anything else. I tend to recycle my characters, so expect to to see similar characters again.
I'm 18, a senior in high school and plan to study music and hope to one day be a professional singer. I'd love to follow in similar foot steps of Bjork, Prince Poppycock and Florence Welch, all known for having their own style of music and attire.
I love reading and have taken an interest in reading more about other cultures, beliefs mythologies and things of that nature rather than a novel. So hopefully I'll be bringing some crazy stuff to the guild.
Now I won't be able to be active all the time due to school, after school stuff, and a relationship but I shall be active as I can!
Well there's my little blurb. Hope to learn more about you all soon!
