Zedkiel awoke stretching his legs and looking down to Onyxa. He half forgot she was there through the night, but happy to see it wasn't a dream. He looked up and his siblings had left already they must have missed the filly since she was sleeping behind Zed. He pouted at the chance to introduce her to them but then turned to wake her. "Onyxa? The sun has set and I'm starving I want you to come hunting with me."

"Hunting Zed? You know I still eat grass right? What are we hunting? Something tells me its not grasshoppers." She yawned and splayed her feet out in front of her, slowly getting up. Her young warm body was used to soft pine needle beds, not unforgiving stone.

"I know I know...I mean you can stay here if you wish. Vira would watch you but I have to hunt. Or I'm going to get weak and very mean....." Zedkiel tilted his head she seemed stiff. "I'll make you a bed tonight." Zedkiel said with a purr wanting her to be comfortable.

She blushed, "That is not nessesary, I will get used to the stone. I will come with you, it is good practice, as long as I don't have to eat it yet. I wouldn't want to to become uncomfortable." She stood and followed him. Working her legs so they were flexible again. At least she wouldn't have to worry about the sun hurting her eyes after being in a dark cave.

"Not necessary but something I want to do anyways...I might like it myself." Zedkiel said with a nod. "No no you wont be turned anytime soon. You must learn the ways and prove yourself to my father for him to turn you. Plus it will be after adulthood. Turned vampires stay the way they are when they were turned. So if dad turned you now you would stay a foal forever. Now lets go I'm so hungry!" Whines wanting to move before he bit into her, he didn't have as much control as his father. Zedkiel flicked his tail before prancing a head. Sure she could see clearly by now.

"Ick being a foal for forever would suck. And thank you for your consideration. It will be nice to have a bed again" She said and she hurried after him. "What are we hunting today? I can't imagine toads would be very appetizing so something else?"

"Well...adult vampires normally drink....azrein blood....but as a foal I hunt whippers...or other smaller creatures....but whippers are so much more challenging. There is not talking them into it or trading for it, its strait out hunting...." Zedkiel looked at her with worry he feared she would look at him like a monster and want to leave.

Onyxa cocked her head. "What is a whipper?" She had never heard of this creature before. Drinking azrein blood in her mind was fine as long as the azrein wasn't killed in the process. And Zed hadn't bitten her so they had some control. He came across as a normal foal for the most part who was proud of his status and heritage and if anyone were a proud being it was her own father, Prism.

"Adonis used to eat grasshoppers cause they crunched, I don't see as how that is much different." She grinned at him. "I want to see a whipper!" She bounded up to him. "Arn't you hungry? Let's goooooo!"
