Ari walked around the streets while searching for a new leads to bring back to his boss. It had been a while since he had seen the group he'd been assigned which, in a way, was a blessing. He had, had his "vacation" that he had deserved after giving the information he collected when he was in that group. He remembered the officers names too, Boston, Wiley, and Jacques. The officer that has stood out was Boston, she didn't seem like a police dog at the time and in fact she reminded him of a friend of his. Though afterwards she tried to get him on to the force. He declined without saying a reason only that his past would keep him out of the force. She had tried to ask what happened but he had walked away right out of her life, he had hoped, he had spent the two weeks off wondering what would have happened if he had said yes to her not so gentle nudge to be a police dog. Heh, nudge she practically dragged me with her saying I'd be an astounding police dog I just slipped away back in to the shadows.
"Besides if I had gone with her, she would have found out that I wasn't a guard dog or a pet. She'd of turned me in with the stray we fought.
He continued walking down the street watching for a contact. The local strays had been moving around slower than usual and his only lead had dried up. He didn't really pay much attention to his surroundings he was focusing on the dogs in alleys and those that did not have collars.
