Something that I have been curious about for a while is the origin of the class names. I know HU-, RA-, and FO- come from "hunter," "ranger," and force" respectively, and that -newm and -newearl are most likely from "newman," but where did suffixes like -mar come from? Has anyone else wondered this?

well that's like asking why the cat people in Final Fantasy 11 are called "Mithra" they are called "Mar" and stuff like that....cause that's how Sega wanted it, lol
