Glyph felt he had spent too long attending to his realms and not enough time as a Councillor. He was full of questions... among them, how to combat the Grigori. One of his ideas was to craft weapons... but those required forges, artisans, warriors and he was certain mortal weapons would be as toothpicks wielded against trees.
Having remembered Fire in his search to forge glass for the Twin Crown, Glyph now sought out Karaskis to seek her aid and advice in the creation of such items. Would her divine fire imbue the mortal weapons appropriately? Would it even help?
And, most importantly, what of weapons for the Gods? Glyph was certain pieces of their pasts lay strewn and fragmented across the planes... would Fire be able help in piecing these back together when and if they recovered such fragments?
He could only hope.

Karaskis stepped from the rooms where some of the mortals stayed and looked down the hall thoughtfully. Meeting with those she knew was a good start but she felt as if she'd been missing much. There was a council now it seemed, her distracts with the Fire Seed and building her own temple had taken quite the toll. It seemed she'd be needing to find a place to start working her way back to familiarity with everything. Turning back down the hall Karaskis paused looking toward the form moving toward her. Wrinkling her brow it took her a moment to recognize the god, instead of turning to her own door and the rooms she shared with Mystery she moved toward glyph. "Greetings, it has been sometime since I've seen you last."

The crackling voice of lady fire made him grin with his success in finding the goddess and he waved, closing the distance between them. "Do you have a moment? I'd like to speak with you - do you think your fire could help in the forging of tools and weapons that might defend against the Grigori? I'm looking into our options and you helped us make the glass items for Harmodius..." He looked hopeful.

Karaskis nodded toward the other god pausing to listen, "I do have a moment..." her voice trailed a moment to hear the rest of his request, "I may be able to help with t hat." A sad smile comes to her face a moment, "Harmodius asked I create something for him that I believe should be able to aid." Considering another moment, "I am not sure what plans he had for the fire seed specifically, if nothing else calling forth pure primordial fire may be of some help, however that may take some doing."
She smiles some after a brief moment, "if nothing else I will help you find what will. Mystery had some ideas as well in the past...what have you been considering?"

"Fire Seed?" He echoed, curiosity piqued, "What's that going to be for?"
He pursed his lips in thought at her question and gave a shrug, "Nothing concrete yet but one of the things the council wants to do is gather up old knowledge so that we can make our own relics but I doubt that can be done without the cooperation of the various gods... an for weapons given to mortals, they need to be of divine make, I'm willing to guess, so that they are at least equipped to stand and fight if it comes to that." He sighed, "I'd rather protect our followers then send them into the fray but as we do not know what the grigori are up to yet, it is best to be prepared."
He gestured at the Pantheon in general, "If we build forges, we'll need fires to stoke and I can think of no better hand for that." Glyph smiled, then shrugged, "I have nothing concrete to plan on, as you can see - do you have advice?"

Karaskis looked thoughtful a moment, "The fire seed I had to take time to create and pour my power into it over a series of time. At my current strength I am unable to create a fire powerful enough to forge the weapons needed...Harmodius gave it to me so flames powerful enough would be able to be made."Karaskis considers a moment, "however, even with the flames we'd need a very special forge to hold such and someone that could smith the weapons. I had met one when my host was yet very powerful...I looked forward to combining my flames with her abilities. ...Forge - if any can craft such a thing it should be she. But I have not seen her for sometime." A frown comes to her face as she considers.

"So... it'd basically be some sort of storage or power device to call forth flame from?" That sounded extremely useful, actually. "Would anyone be able to use it or would it answer only its mistress?"
Forest gave a nod, a divine hand to craft divine items made sense... he couldn't honestly say he was would be comfortable putting the creation of crucial objects in the mortals' hands so quickly. Those who gathered around the Pantheon now were survivors, yes, but they were still mortals. Arrogant, perhaps, to think like that... but it was probably better to strive for the strength in the gods for such endeavors.
"Forge?" Forest thought over the considerable number of gods he'd encountered and, for the most part, befriended since his rebirth but no Forge came to mind. Frowning he tilted his head, "Like many others - gone missing?"

Karaskis considers a moment, "It is likely possible they could be pulled from the seed by another. But as it is much of myself, I would not offer such over lightly." A slight smile passes over her lips, "plus I would not recommend it for someone that is not unaffected by my flames."
Karaskis looked more grave a moment listening to the other god, "Chalybis...is what she called herself when I met her sometime ago. Her host last I knew was a teenage girl named Danielle...a strong and opinionated girl. I sadly have no idea where they would have gone to - so yes missing at least for now."

He laughed and shook his head, "I would not be so foolish as to call Fire to Forest, but it is good to know you work to strengthen your flames." Glyph offered a grin and let the topic fall as she continued to name the goddess and her host.
"Chalybis?" He repeated but again found nothing familiar in its feel or sound and sighed, looking sidelong at Karaskis, "And Danielle... Two names, at least. I'll have to ask around for her, perhaps she's hidden herself among the mortals. What did her host look like?" It worried him that so many of their number had gone missing...
"Thank-you my friend. I appreciate your assistance but if you'll excuse me, there are matters I need to tend to. I will contact you when we've gotten everything sorted out!" Forest offered a smile for the goddes as he tucked the names and descriptions under his arm then turned away.
