As she lied on the floor of her cell, Nana wavered between sleep and consciousness, her emerald gaze staring off blankly, as if she might die at any given momment.Her head pounded, a byproduct of the drug she'd just recently been given, though, now it was wearing off and slowly making its way from her system.Only mere momments ago had she been in a ferocious battle with another arrancar who had been close to her own level of power, but it wasn't of her own will, it was this drug.That cruel soul reaper had stuck her with yet another needle and pit her against one of her own, thus, where the drug came in.Since day one, Nana had tried to fight it, not wanting to be some tool used to aimlessly slaughter other arrancars, but the drug took away all her will to be so defiant.It made her angery, so angery that she couldn't help but to kill who or whatever was in front of her, just like a beast gone mad.She hated it, she hated the scent of blood that dwindled on her being, she hated the way this drug made her feel, she hated that she could never seem to gather enough power, nor will to even stand in her cell.If she'd known that this is what had been awaiting her, Nana would never have let that soul reaper capture her, well, that was a lie.She would've let anyone catch her, so long as it meant that she didn't just have to wonder around so aimlessly and lonesome.She didn't want to be alone anymore, yet in this cell, she felt lonelier than she had out in the human world.

It was pathetic really, to see such an arrancar alive, but as disturbing as it was, Nana was too strong to die, after all, she was quite the fighter.Her strength could crush and shatter healthy bones with ease, her raietsu could bring seasoned soul reapers to their knees and gasping for breath, her healing abilities were nothing short of remarkable, and her sonido was excelent, yet, she didn't like to fight.She saw no point in killing someone unless it was the only way to continue her existence, but even then, she still detested the idea of fighting to kill.She just wanted a peaceful existance to share with a companion, she didn't care who it was, arrancar, soul reaper, human, just so long as she didn't have to walk whatever path she landed on alone.She couldn't help this side of herself, it was almost like some part of her was almost human and had rooted itself deep into her as a need, a necessity rather than a desire.That alone may have been her only weakness, but that wasn't important, right now she had bigger things to worry about, like how to escape this hell she was constantly thrust into.She had no energy to fight without the drug, and with it she would be locked in a room to fight to the death with some other poor arrancar who'd been taken by soul reapers.She could always try to let the other arrancar kill her, but that drug just brought out her strengths when her anger fired up, and other than that, there really didn't seem to be any other way to end it.She could beg the soul reapers to kill her, seeing as she really had no need for pride, but they would probably laugh at her pleas and continue on.There didn't seem to be a way out unless she took her own life, but she'd need to gather as much strength as possible before she could do anything at the momment.

Soon, two feet in heels came into Nana's line of vision, though, the arrancar didn't react, knowing it was that girl, the one with the long black hair.She came in quite often to check Nana's vital signs and make sure she was in good health, well, at least good enough that she wouldn't die.If Nana was ever in better health than she should be, due to her healing, the girl would inject her with a poisonous syrum that would ebb away at Nana's health until she wouldn't be able to even think straight.At her full strength, it would be so simple for Nana to break loose, but this girl made sure that Nana was just alive enough that she couldn't die and couldn't attack.At the momment, the girl was cleaning the blood from Nana's smooth skin with a damp cloth, something new to the arrancar and made her suspicious."Today your new life begins.Do not disapoint Captain Kurotsuchi", was all she said before she quickly finished cleaning the arrancar and left.What did that mean, a new life, was she being set free?Were they going to do some strange fusing expiriment on her?Whatever it was they were planning, Nana didn't like it at all, she didn't want any part of it, but she didn't have a choice in the matter.As she laid there, contemplating on what she should do, yet another pair of feet came into her blurred vision as she whispered out,"Please.......Kill me...", before passing out, not caring who it was she'd just begged to end her misery.
