Asami was the grand daughter of Gaara, the fifth kazekage, and the former host of the one-tailed Jinchuuriki. She grew up in a rather happy family. Therefore, she never had experienced any major problems other than a few deaths of friends. Asami had mysteriously inherited Gaara's gift of sand control, which became her main source of offense. She received the position of the 10th Kazekage after her father (9th Kazekage) had grown to old for the job. She successfully protects the village at the moment, but Asami herself, is still learning.
