It was just a swim. Just a nice swim in the cool ocean. If she saw Michiru it would be alright.
That was the thought that ran through Haruka's mind as she pulled into the parking lot not too far from the condo she onced lived in. Getting out she crossed the beach and slowly walked into the water to swim.

Cordelia swam through the water lazily all eight legs dancing in the current. She was bored, not only had no one needed a spell from her in days but she started running low on the ingredients she needed to practice uplander magic.
With nothing else to do the Cecaelia headed to the surface to see if she could collect some things she needed. Breaking the surface she took a breath out of the water waiting for her lungs to adjust, she liked it up here the sun warmed her cool skin easily.

This wasn't so bad. The water was great, the sun was warm on her, and there was a slight maretime breeze playing through here hair.
She wasn't quite watched where she was going though. Before she knew it she was swiming rather close to a girl who she hadn't quite seen before.

Her mild interest in collecting ingredients was lost when she noticed the human swimming near by. "Oh" she smiled to herself quietly gliding closer to her. "Hello there human what brings you to the ocean" she gave her a smile.

Haruka was lost in her thoughts when the girls spoke. Stopping she treded water next to her just looking. She said human as if she wasn't but then again she said ocean as if she was close to it like a sister. Michiru had become a mermaid after they split up. Was this girl like that too.
"I...ah..I'm just out for a swim. I haven't been here in a while and thought it was about time I came back."

She dove below the surface swimming under the human to get a look at her before resurfacing behind her. "I love when humans come to play in the edges of our world" she said. "but wouldn't you prefer to see the whole thing?"

Haruka watched as the girl dove under water. It was then that she noticed the multiple legs on her. At least four, so she was guessing she had eight. When the girl popped back up she was on the other side of her.
"I...I don't know. I had a girl friend who resently joined the beings of the sea...."
She was insecure about being in the water to begin with. to explore it as the girl was making her belive...she wasn't sure.

"My name is Cordelia" she introduced herself amused at how that human seemed to be nervous around her, it made sense ever since that human movie showing her kind as the evil sea witch she'd gotten this reaction...and considering she was actually sort of a sea witch, though she herself wasn't evil. "If you like I could let you have the experience?" she offered. "I have a potion you could take...grow a tail and explore the ocean depths?"

Cordelia huh? Well she didn't seem too bad. Yeah she looked like the villiness from the Little Mermaid but she didn't off a negitive energy like the villians she had fought. She was just an octopus girl.
"It would be...interesting..."
She looked to her with interest. Haruka always wondered what was at the bottom of the sea. And it only took a potion?
"Is it painful..?"
Her curiousity was starting to get the best of her.

"No it's not painful" she told her. "But it might be a bit scary initially, you lungs have to change to support breathing underwater and above water at the same time, but it's not so bad." she remembered her first time becoming human when she changed into her senshi form. "And it will take a moment to learn your new legs or fin depending on your choice."

Haruka was interested and her curiousity grew. maybe she could learn what held Michiru so tightly down there. Finally it got to the point that she could hold her curiousity back.
"Which one is faster?"
The fear she could handle, there was little that scared her. The faster she went down the sooner she could settle her mind and get back up right? Looking to Cordelia she nodded showing that she wanted it.

Cordelia smiled. "I love a curious human" she smiled. "Well I prefer tentacles myself" she said obviously a few of her limbs surfaced. "But you could be a mermaid as well, it might be easier to handle for a first timer but it's up to you"

Haruka smiled as she saw the tenticals come to the surface. She actually seemed to want it to be comfortable for her.
"I think a tail might be the best for now."
Keeping legs together to swim sounded easier than dividing legs in to more. She was actually gettting excited about this.
"So how does this work? Do we...I need to do anything?"

"Just give me a moment" she said diving down again propelling herself quickly through the water back to her cave so she could grab the potion she needed.
It wasn't long before she resurfaced with the bottle in hand. "Drink this in one gulp" she told her handing the bottle over.

Haruka nodded and continued to tred water as Cordelia dove benieth. She waited pasiently till she returned with te potion in hand.
"That's it?"
She figured there would be more to drink. Looking the bottle over before she nodded and downed the drink. Now she waited for what was going to happen.
