Character Name: Amy Pond Role Player: the last timelady
RP ExampleOkay, this was definitely not where they were supposed to have gone. The Doctor had landed them in the right place once more but didn't seem to notice. "Doctor!" Amy said, knocking on the door. But it was useless, even Rory had tried to get his attention. The TARDIS had disappeared and Amy's hand dropped to her side. She sighed and looked around. They were on Earth, that much was obvious. Well, at least it wasn't some unknown planet to them. She looked over at Rory and nodded. "Yeah, we should. Knowin' the Doctor, he'll be back in a few days or so. I think we'll have plenty of time to ourselves," Amy replied, giving Rory's hand a squeeze. Their time together was so limited when they were traveling with the Doctor. But she didn't mind too much really.
When they'd neared the crowd, Amy paid close attention to what was going on. In the distance she heard a very familiar noise. The TARDIS. She tugged on Rory's hand, trying to get his attention but then she noticed the screen as well. "Hmm...maybe. Let's find out," Amy replied, thoughts of the Doctor possibly being back gone for the moment. They blended in with the crowd and listened to the interview. It was interesting and she understood why there was such a big crowd. This woman was more than a celebrity, she wasn't human. She certainly looked like it though. Could she be...? Amy inwardly shook away the thought that there could possibly be another time lord. The Doctor told her that he was the last of his kind.
She'd heard Rory speak and Amy turned to look at him. She nodded. "No, you're not imagining it. She did say it. You don't think she could be a time lord--lady, do you? It's just not possible though if she is," Amy replied. The interview had long since ended and Amy wanted to investigate. Not only that, she remembered that she had heard the TARDIS come back.
"Oh! I just remembered. Earlier, before we listened to that interview. I heard the TARDIS. We should go find it and tell the Doctor what's going on. I'm sure that he'd be interested to know about this girl," Amy said. She doubted that Rory would protest and so the two headed off down the street.
Amy looked around until she finally found it. The TARDIS was parked in an alleyway and she walked up to it, releasing Rory's hand as she got nearer. Hand on the door knob, Amy pulled the door open, luckily, it opened for her. "Doctor? Are you in here?" She asked. As she got inside, motioning for Rory to follow her as she did so, she noticed that the TARDIS was very different. She stopped in the doorway. "Rory? There's something wrong here," Amy murmured. What was wrong with the TARDIS, and where was the Doctor?
Sorry, it's long. And I wasn't sure if I should post this here or not. :/

Character Name: Doctor Ten Role Player:Burning Carebears
RP Example: The Doctor, leaning back in his control chair, frowned at the controls of the TARDIS. She was making some strange noises. Maybe you'd actually be able to figure out what they meant if you didn't throw the manual into a supernova... he mused to himself. He then shook the thought out of his head before grabbing his screwdriver and heaving himself from the chair to walk towards the console.
He ran his hand across the cold metal with a frown as she wheezed and whirled. "What's wrong, sweetie?" he cooed, almost as if speaking to a lover. When she gave no verbal response, he decided to go below the floor and check her out beneath.
After a while of tinkering around and returning with a few more spare parts than he had to begin with (I could've sworn that these wires attached to something!), she was purring like a kitten once more. Well, if the kitten were blue. And bigger on the inside. And could travel through space and time. But, besides all that, purring like a kitten.

Character Name: The Eighth Doctor Roleplayer: scherzofrog
RP Example: Quiet moments are rare aboard the TARDIS, exceedingly rare. No screaming damsels, no fires in the library, nothing untoward tracking in ooze across the flagstones. There are the clocks, mind, making maddening ticking noises along the back wall, but that's alright. That's good. It's a reminder that time is still puttering along properly, or at least this bubble of it. But the quiet: that scares the living daylights out of him, the quiet.
"Dearest Grace," he calls, stalking across the room for paper and pen (and the bats are all aflutter in the heights of the chamber, flighty little things), "did I mention it travels in space as well? I did, didn't I. Some people," he adds, in conspiracy with the bats, "wouldn't know an opportunity if it jumped up and bit them. --Or dangled a toe tag in their face. Which is her loss, I think."
The Doctor pauses in his pacing, tilts his head--squints--peers into a standing mirror. "Talking to myself. Well, if this isn't the first sign of madness, I expect the amnesia will have been," he says, and takes off running toward the console.
Probably going to wind up drawing heavily on the EDAs and audios, once I've got through more of 'em. But how's this for now? :3

Character Name: The Ninth Doctor Role Player: GreenDragonranger
RP Example: The Doctor sighs abit as he comes up near Rose, those eyes of his looking near his 901 years. Shaking his head some he looked to the other two Doctors. "Mind if I borrow this for a little show and tell?" Not even bothering to listen for an acknowledgement, he begins reviewing the Tardis controls. That's the thing about the Crystal desktop theme, it tried to be a little too retro for his likes. A pinball control? And where's the mallet... oh there it is. He begins flipping controls for a mo, before coming back over to Rose.
"Rose, you've known in the time we've traveled, I'm older than I look. I may look human, but the similarities stop there. As a Time Lord, we were around for millenia, watching the universe and time web." He then glances to his counterparts, seeing more of the sadness in his eyes while he talked to Rose... damn he must have fallen for the blonde more than he himself had in this regeneration. The bowtie one seems to have finally come to grips with the Time War and it's results, so he turns back and continues.
"And one of the major differences is that we have a secret, a trick that lets us get around little things like death. We call it regeneration. Every fiber of our being is rewritten, except our memories. As you know me, this is my ninth form, so think of me as Nine for the moment. Him..." And he points to the trainers wearer, surprised he hasn't pulled out the brainy specs yet, "Something happens, and I become him, so he's Ten. The only reason I know that is one of my earlier forms ran into him for a short moment. Which reminds me how did things with the Master go? Still sporting that rubbish Van Dyke? Anyway," he turned back to Rose while explaining, "I'm willing to bet he..." Pointing to the bowtie guy, "Came after the tenth regeneration, so he's Eleven... least he cleaned up his hair, but a bowtie, really? Next you'll tell me you wear a fez with it."
Finally he turns back to Rose, hands resting on her shoulders. "So what they are saying is true. Someday, somehow, something is going to happen to me. And on that day, everything's going to change for you and me. All the places I want to take you, I may actually take you to, but it won't be like this. It might be him..." And he motions with his head back to Ten. "And it'll be fantastic, no matter what. After all..." He then hits the Big Red Button, and a virtual display comes on, displaying several images - a wizened old man with a walking stick and cloak, a goofy-faced hobo with short dark hair playing a recorder, a bubbly-looking dandy of a man singing an alien to sleep while holding one of his first Sonics, a tall man with an impossibly long technicolor scarf that would have made Joseph jealous holding a gummy bear with a wild look in his eye, a strapping young man with hair lighter than Rose's bowling a perfect strike, a curly-headed fellow who looked like he was angry all the time, a dour-gent with a question-mark handled cane raising his hat in salute, an older gentleman standing near the Golden Gate Bridge dressed like someone out of Dickens, he himself giving one of his famous grins, Ten with his brainy specs on clearly burbling in Doctor-speak, and Eleven, standing on a rooftop with a cocky grin. The other two, knowing where this was going, all three look to Rose, and speak as one. "I'm the Doctor."

Character Name: The Master (Saxon) Role Player: TaijimaNarumi
RP Example (From an old 1x1 with 13tash07)
"Not entirely sure. Usually make it up as I go along, you know. More fun that way," The Doctor said with a grin replying to The Master's question. He smiled slightly to himself. Really he should not be surprised by The Doctor's answer. Still regardless of a plan or not, he still had a feeling they would not be over their heads. “Well spontaneity is the spice of life.” "Come on. Let's go check it out." He nodded as he followed a running Doctor to the doors of the Tardis. He followed The Doctor outside and into what he would have accepted to be a lush forest. Instead building of iron, steel, and smell of sulfur greeted the two men. The Master pinched his nose and frowned looking around at all the building and various trees laying on the ground. A flying vehicle of some sort past by adding to the already toxic smelling air.
“This is Alknost, I thought they weren't too keen on such things?” The Master said gesturing to the surroundings. He had a feeling that he was very certain the other time lord had as well, that something very wrong was going on. Sure really in reality he could not give a fly care about the people of Alknost. That did not mean he ever wanted to take over their world. There was nothing to gain. On the subject it was the same with Earth. Compared to half the galaxy the little planet was still a little under developed. The Doctor adored the little monkeys for some reason though. Something The Master had yet to understand. They were short lived, comparably stupid to both him and The Doctor, and excessively violent. Sure he was not the most pacifistic person, still there were humans that made him look gentle as a lamb. Still The Doctor loved his humans, and The Master loved seeing The Doctor get all weepy and angry. So, he messed with the people of Earth every chance he got. He and The Doctor continued looking around in hope of finding something.
Back in the marbled halls of the citadel, the High Chairman Eret was once again speaking with Major Vinic. The uniformed man on the side of projection screen was relaying a report to the Chairman. Sir, my men spotted a flying blue box and shot at it.”The Chairman raised a brushy orange eyebrow. He stroked his chin deep in thought. Then laughed to himself.“A flying blue box, how ridiculous sounding. Why would anyone ever have something like that?” He waved his hand in a gesture for Vinic to continue. “I'm not sure what happened to it though sir. My men did shoot at it, but it just disappeared.” Vinic said in an almost sheepish tone looking very nervous. “I told you not to call me 'sir', and find that damn ship; it couldn't have gone far!” Eret order clicking of the communication device before Vinic could reply. He leaned back in the black velvet high back arm chair and gave himself a mental pack on the back.
Not only had he modernize Alknost he had managed to make its two indigenous people be at war with each other. Eret was a man short of stature, round in body and face, with shock of orange hair and bushy eyebrows. He was not from Alknost, but a planet called Skaar. A people know for ruining other planets before taking them over. Unlike most of his fellow Skaarens he did not keep the planets. He sold them. Alknost would catch a very nice price. Alknost would be his seventeenth planet. A record in Skaaren's eyes. His bright yellow eyes closed as he thought of how perfectly everything was going. Soon the people of Alknost would be dead and the planet up for sail. There was not anything or anybody that could stop him. Vinic had order to of his men also Skaarens to go around a scout the area. Out in the distant they spotted two men. They could vaguely make out the one was a tall brunet and the other shorter in stature a blond. Then they spotted the blue box. Remembering their orders they began to shoot.
The Master walked around in silence for clues on what was going. So far they had found nothing. He was getting boredom in all honesty. Still he was rather enjoying having The Doctor's company. It felt nice for things to be like they were back on Gallifrey. A sharp pain of the lost of his home hit him briefly. He ignored it there was no point thinking about it. What was done was done. “At least you still got The Doctor.” A small voice in the back of his mind noted. The Master smiled secretly to himself, before turning to face The Doctor. Who looked to be lost in thought or something. The Master was about to say something when he spotted the two men and their guns. “Get down!” He yelled quickly walking over to The Doctor and knocking him to the ground. The cracking sounds of bullets flying through the air could be heard. The Master was half lying on The Doctor panting slightly. “That was close, almost too close.” He thought as his hearts slowed down. Sure he might have threatened to kill The Doctor, but in reality he could never do it. The thought of being alone scared him. Something he would never admit out loud. “Well, so much for the element of surprise.” He said in cheeky tone before going off in a burst of insane laughter.

Character Name: Rory Pond Williams Role Player: CaptainTapole
RP Example
Not again. It was Rory's only thought at the moment. "Amy! It happened again!" The voice scratchy voice called out from the small area of one of the many unusual rooms the TARDIS claimed to own; never knowing if he would be heard. Struggling free from all the wires, Rory started to take off his thin summer coat over his head only to make them even more tangled than it was. Hearing faint laughter of the darling wife of his, the coat only got worse once his arms started to reach up but only to get stuck in the position of raised arms. This, of course, only made the laughter louder. "Not loving you at the moment." His muffled voice sounded aggravated; but never to Amy; but just frustrated.
"You-lie--" That wonderful Scottish woman who he waited for could not get a proper sentence out between the laughter. A few jumps, tugs and grunts; Rory was able to get the summer coat off from over his head; creating more of a mess of the ruffled hair of his and now leaving the fabric hanging down and through the wires. Finally able to see Amy, on the floor; trying to keep a hold of her sides while the laughing started to subside, he could not do anything but sigh. "Miracle he is not around to join in the audience. This would have been up his alley. And where did he take us this time?"
Squirming his arms before slamming down the coat and wires to the ground, he saw Amy wiping the tears away from her face before letting out sighs and the last breaths of laughter. "Something about spider-folks." Rory was far from fearing spiders; but those creatures being bigger than they should be--which, to him, the size of a finger-nail--he could not help but get the heeby-jeebies about it. "Well, lead on." Watching Amy turn; he could not help but cant his head a bit to glance down at her. Smiling brightly to himself, he then looked down to the wires and the summer coat. Grabbing the coat, he gave his best macho-man-like look to the wires. "Beat that." Without missing a heartbeat, a small spark came from the wires and Rory took no hesitation to exit out of the room in a hasty manner.

I am awfully tempted to claim pre-Interference Fitz and Sam as well, unless there's somebody else who wants 'em--they're two of Eight's companions from the books. I can handle juggling three characters, but only if it wouldn't be a bother to anyone else.

Character Name: Rose Tyler {I changed my mind ^^;; -- hope that's alright} Role Player: 1stMoonPrincess RP Example:
"Bad Wolf? Bad Wolf, Report."
She held the walkie-talkie up to her lips with her free hand, brown orbs glancing around alertly as she walked while her other hand supported her Dimention Cannon. "Bad Wolf here." she assured Control on the other end. There had been frequently reported signs of extra-terrestrial activity along the shores of Bad Wolf Bay. It was quite ironic, and a bit cocerting if you asked her. Aliens? In Bad Wolf Bay? Where she was forced to depart with her Doctor on the worst day of her life? There was no way it was just a 'coincidence'.
"Found anything yet?"
Rose rolled her eyes. The Torchwood Control team never seemed to understand the definition of 'patience'. She stopped suddenly. Biting her lip, she began to feel a sense of insecurity around her -- a sign of danger. Bits of her blonde tresses danced around her, caused by a threatening wind sweeping into the area. She could feel heavy, darting eyes watching her, watching intently. Angry eyes. Horrible eyes. Glaring into her back. Glaring from behind. Glaring deeper and deeper, almost as if it was glaring into her soul.
"Bad Wolf?" Control concerned.
She quickly came to know the fear that had just claimed her and converted it into bravery. She clipped the walkie-talkie to her waist, firing up her Dimention Cannon and ready to blast whatever it was out of this parrallel universe over the stars. She turned around instantly, confidence and preperation on her face. "This is gonna be a long day."

Character Name: Romanadvoratrelundar Role Player: g u h linda
RP Example “Oh?”
The TARDIS creaked, groaning and hissing against an unforeseeable pressure outside. Green eyes stayed on her monitors, a k-9 unit circling the console and alerting her to changes being made on their own. One lever was pulled, the wibbley lever doing nothing to help stabilize her. A button was pressed - again, the TARDIS couldn’t seem to respond accordingly. Romana was used to the stubborn ways of a transport unit, she knew that they had minds of their own and could easily be manipulated into doing…well, plainly put, whatever the doer wanted done. However, this was all a case of déjà vu, a bad memory that everyone was experiencing for what felt like the billionth time.
“Oh.” The blonde continued, unsure if she should be concerned or slightly excited by this. Nothing of this caliber had occurred with her since the day she’d landed in the parallel dimension - the separation of nothingness keeping her safe and at complete naivety to the matters with the Time Lords. At one point the woman had been great, she had been a brilliant Time Lady what with her militant attitude and the knowledge that was beyond her years stored up in that fantastic mind of hers. And then the war came. She was a keen observer, she was never the type to fight wars, more of the peace keeper. The only person who seemed to see this in her was Theta, er, the Doctor. He agreed. They shared that common goal of peace keeping.
Then as a result he jettisoned her into a parallel world where the Time Lady wouldn’t have to deal with matters such as war and violence. On one logical end, the male only did it out of concern and care for the female and she SHOULD have felt some sort of…content with this. On the other, more illogical side, he jettisoned her, practically banishing her, with a k-9 unit and a TARDIS and no means of return. Her eyes flickered up to the screen again, her red shoe now decorating a bar as she tried to keep it down, her two hands busy with finding anything that might make this trip any easier. Nothing. Nothing was working, whatever was pulling them through was going to tear apart the poor TARDIS and possibly its two inhabitants! “Come on old girl, I know you can do it.” The woman encouraged, fighting off the urge to yell something fierce as she was thrown back onto the white grated floor.
And then, just as quick as it had started, it stopped, leaving the blonde on her back and in a slight daze as to what happened. “Are you conscious, Miss?” Always trust a robotic voice to be the one to bring you back to reality…Romana looked up at the metal dog, a smile curving her lips as she reached behind her for her white hat. “Of course I am, K-9. Didn’t think a bumpy ride was going to throw me off now, did you?” The dog responded with a hollow ‘negative’, following the woman as she stood up to see just what was going on. The TARDIS was drained of energy, its normal hum nothing but a soft hiccup every now and then. “You poor girl, you rest. I’ll just…go see where we are.” Was it odd to be talking in such an intimate way with a TARDIS? Romana couldn’t help but feel connected to the living machinery, they’d traveled through everything together, seen the end of two universes and crossed over space and time that should never have existed. Her lips pursed, a delicate hand caressing the console as a means of comfort before taking her leave.

Character Name: The Fourth Doctor Role Player: 1stMoonPrincess RP Example
"Don't be foolish, Sarah," The Watcher chatised his companion playfully. "Of course there are still prosperous ancient civilizations." She looked at him, half-flabbergasted and half-insulted. "Well, I knew that!" she squeaked, marching over to him him near the console. Then, why did you open your mouth?" He pressed a few buttons and turned a knob, now glancing at her with an inquisitive expression. "Oh, Doctor!" She cried in exasperation, frustrated with his never-ending teasing and authority over her. She crossed her arms and turned her back to him. "I was just wondering is all!"
"Well, well," he said, flipping a switch and stepping over to her once the TARDIS was landed. He couldn't help a small grin forming on his lips at her reaction and obvious immaturity, He crouched beside her, his eyes now concentrating the rise and fall of the yo-yo in his habd as his mind dealt with the concerning matters at hand."There is no reason to act childish about it. he stated flatly, the grin vanished from his lips. "I'm not childish!" came her defending reply. His next response seemed brutal. "of course you are," he countered, eyes still on his gravity-testing yo-yo. "All you ever do is whine, gripe, and complain. You refuse to assist me, especially when I need you the most. I'm always having to rescue you because you're an imbecile and a dufus. I shouldn't have allowed you to travel along with me. That seems to be my largest misfortunate mistake." Little did she know that he was secretly trying to get her to be confident, stand up for herself more. He loved Sarah Jane, and didn't want her perky self to disappear -- but in all honestly, she needed some sort of backbone if she was going to help him protect humanity.
The brunette was furious, even more insulted and very much offended than a few moments before. She stood up abruptly and glared at her Doctor in disbelief. "You know that is not true! I am very enthusiastic about any and every world you have showed me! I enjoy travelling with you and have assisted you many times! I know I accidentally get dragged into dangerous situations, but I choose to travel with you. And I think I can recall just the many times I have saved your life as well!"
The Fourth Incarnation smiled one of his rare, goofy smiles. "Good," He remarked. That's what he had wnated to happen -- for Sarah to defend herself and pour her anger out. Now that she had done that, she would be willing to go and see what world they had landed on and where they were. He stood up and wiped himself off before patting her on the shoulder breifly and tucking away his yo-yo. He tightened his tremendous mult-coloured scarf and plopped on his adventurous floppy hat.
Oh, what exhilaration and curosity! There would be no telling what would happen. What sort of people or creatures they would face. Or where or when they were. And he loved every second of it.
