This garden is filled with all sorts of flowers. Students and staff both enjoy its peaceful atmosphere, and so both help with the garden's upkeep.

It was a nice early morning and Yamina found herself in the gardens, dew was still resting on the flowers. Yamina had volunteered to deadhead the roses and the dragon snaps as they had a tendency to bite if you didn't talk to them first.
"Good morning Red," Yamina paused near a red rose bush. "You are looking pretty today, I am going to touch you up a bit," she told the plant before cutting off a few roses heads.

"Who is trimming flowers at this hour? It's our dayoff today. I thought everyone would want more sleep after what's happened recently?" Granz yawned as he sat upright and sleepily looked around for the source of the scissors that had triggered him awake~
Looking around he saw Yamina trimming some flowers in the rose section~ Now he normally didn't sleep in that part of the garden normall due to the fact that the roses bite and the red and white ones were in the middle of a turf waf war~ "Hey what brings you out here?" he asked as he sleepily made his way to yamina throwing his jacket back on along the way~

Yamina turned around a little startled, she was not expecting anyone to be around."Oh.." she thought. the guy look familiar, she thought she heard his name before. "Gran..z? was it?" she asked bitting her lip. "I was just clipping the roses so there would be more blooms, and I think they make them happier," She said with a soft smile.

"Oh I think I remember you." Granz spoke as his sleepyness began to fade away and the girl came into more clear view~ "I've seen you around but I don't think we really shared any classes other than the lunch breaks." he added~ "Oh yeah, youre right I am Granz." he smiled as he remembered Yamina's question~
"Unfortunately I can't recall yours miss. I fear it's probably due to the number of concussions I took during the whole Nurse Katya incident." he blushed as his mind went back to recalling some of his less than prouder moments during that particular bit of mahem~ He then noticed the scissors in the girls hands and the trimmed up flowers~ Indeed the roses seemed a bit happier to have shed some unneccessary petals~ "Is this something you normally do?" he asked out of simple curiosity~

"Oh, it is alright," Yamina said like this was something she said often "I am easily forgotten and not noticed." Yamina paused for a moment. "My name is Yamina, it is possible Granz that we have not been introduced during the mayhem and that is why you can not recall my name" She looked back to the roses, even daring to smell a fresh bloom and even wrinkling her nose as the rose blew pollen up her nose. She let out a tiny quite sneeze that to funny to be called a sneeze.
"normally?" she said in a whisper as if she was speaking out loud almost as if she had forgotten the question already? "Oh, the trimming, yes/ it is something I do often, part to maybe make the roses both nicer and beautifuler(?) but to give me ideas for my skirts." Yamina said a little embarrassed. She looked away, she also did not want to admit she rather not spend much time in her room. She was the sole occupant and it got rather lonely.

"You in training to become a seamstress or something? THat wouldn't be a bad career." Granz yawned as he began to wake up~ He slept well, was having a pleasent conversation~ The only irratant was the rumbling in his stomach~ "Plus it's nice that someone besides me is willing to help maintain this place." he added as he plucked one of the roses that was nearly dead and ate it~ "Mmm"

Yamina shook her head. "No, I really wanna be a painter," Yamina replied with a giggle as Granz ate the nearly dead rose. I guess I am not the only one who is hungry . "However, I do love a lot of different outfits," she said a little more embarrassed. "I'll show you what I mean," she continued.
Yamina raised her free hand to her necklace and touched the gem. As she did, Yamina was holding on to a particular idea. The necklace gave of a soft light as her pink petal dress formed closer to her hips, became a beautiful rose color and almost looked as if she was wearing a rose upside down.
"Ta~da?"she giggled

Granz watched as Yamina's entire outfit changed before his eyes~ "Now that is certainly an impressive trick." he staedin awe~ "I could never trust myself that well with magic to apply it upon myself like that. I have enough trouble just trying to get by without adding that factor in." he added blushing slightly~ A small rumor was that Granz despised magic, but that wasn't the case~ In reality he had always thought it was cool and useful but could never trust himself well enough to attept using it for himself~ "So that must come in handy when changing for gym or when ya might accidentally spill something or rip a garment huh?" he asked sorta curious behind the mechanics of the pendant as he grabbed another near dead flower and munched on it like popcorn~

Yamina cocked her head to the side almost in in an awkward thinking poses. The truth was she was distracted by Granz eating the flowers and if she should offer him her basket of clipped flowers. Yamina then shook her head as if coming back to her sense.
"I.never thought about it like that," she said openly honesty and feeling kind of stupid for not thinking about it for those matters to much. "I am ..still learning what i can do with this," she continued in a more thoughtful tone. "It was a gift,from my mom I think, she was a witch,.......as long as I can dream up what i want to wear, it has always worked," She continued her tone getting a bit sadder she really wanted to change the subject. "So Granz, what are you doing here so early?"she asked with a small smile and a light blush as her stomach gently started to growl.

Granz blushed a bit too as Yamina asked abou t his reasons for being here~ "Well ummm, I sleep here actually." he answered looking off to the side a bit~ "My kind are very attuned to being outside a lot no matter the season. Plus I tend to sometimes roll in my sleep which can cause problems for those in the same room as me." he went on as took a bite from another flower politely~
"Plus I just find the outdoors so incredible especially this school." Granz added as he looked up at the ever changing clouds that had decided to take on the guise of puzzle pieces, "We get stuck inside the school so much for classes that sometimes it feels like a large cage for me. Out here it's so open and endless looking that it reminds me of what I think this school really wants to teach us." he added as the ram horned kid walked through the garden petting some of the flowers that purred in response~ "That we live in a world with no limits and no restrictions on what we can do with ourselves.We all have dreams and goals we want to achieve and to do that I think we need a world as endless and unrestricted as this right?"

It was quite for a few minutes between Yamina and Granz, the noise between them only that of the garden and the gargoyles of the school. Yamina then slowly nodded her head in agreement, "Yes, that would make a lot of sense," in a thoughtful tone." I can see what you mean the school would feel like a ca-," Yamina continued but a sly vine from a nearby Dutchman's Pipe decided roll a stone in her path when she was looking causing her to stumble.The way she tripped was almost comical,instead of just stumbling Yamina bounced on the ball of one foot trying to regain her balance, but today was not her day as she landed face forward in the ground. "Thatwasn'tvery nice," she mumbled into the dirt

Granz had to suppress a chuckle as he watched Yamina's routine into the dirt~ Even though stuff like that happened to him on a regular bases it was still slightly comical~ "Yeah some of the trees here like to think of themselves as comedians." Granz explained as he knelt down offering the girl a hand to help her up~ "If you don't keep your guard up they will get you."

Yamina took Granz offered hand. "Thanks," yeah they can be as bad as the sinks sometimes," Yamina said with a soft giggle. Once she was up, she dusted the dirt off of her.
Yamina looked at Granz and then surprise settled over her face along with concern. "Oh, How rude of me, you said you slept out here, I didn't wake you did I?"
