I will make a popular thread.
Everybody loves guns and knives and other miscellanious destructive objects right? So let's talk about our personal experiences with things capable of maiming and killing.
Personally I'm a big time gun nut. I'm a wee bit young, so my collection is not impressive (yet). I have personally purchased a Mossberg 500, Taurus PT 145, and WASR10 (AK-47), as well as inheriting two .22 rifles (Savage and Marlin), and a Winchester Ranger from dead relatives. I also have a small collection of knives and axes, and I like making directional charges with gunpowder and thermite, but that's not something I can just do every day. I'll try to post some pics of my stuff if anyone is interested.
But I want to hear about the rest of you. Surely there are a few weapons enthusiasts other than me around here.

While I am a weapons enthusiast, I do not have the bank, space, or authorization to purchase/own firearms right now. So for now I'll just have to settle for the Modern Arms App and fawn over the pretty automatic rifles that I can't legally own. *Sigh* It's like being at a party and you can't have any of the tasty food because you're on a diet.
The only weapons I've gotten to "play" with are a Mosssberg 500 and an M9, and that's only because I had to get qualified. I've gotten to fire my step-granddad's 12 gauge, MOST FUN EVER, and his .22, which, while fun, didn't have quite the compensation power....

War is a game I favor the sharp, shiny objects. I have swords, spears, and daggers all over the place. Any where one sits in my room, he/she can just reach over and they are immediately armed.
I have yet to add an ax to my collection.

I thought just about all the government agencies and military had switched to the (over-rated) Remington 870. Lionel the Omnipotent War is a game I favor the sharp, shiny objects. pirate Played with a smile Get yourself a tomahawk, pronto. It's one of the greatest weapons ever conceived, even such that it still has practical uses as a weapon in the 21st century. Also, throwing a tomahawk is vastly more gratifying than throwing knives, and less likely to result in noticeable damage (to the weapon, that is).

In order to stand an armed watch, you have to qualify by making it through the weapons safety course and get the Marksman ribbon with the weapon.

Nope =P I guess I'm just mrs. Safety over here wink I think it's just that I'm a woman xp not that all women have no interest in these things, but I've never felt the need to collect weapons or anything damaging. People getting hurt is my LEAST favourite thing =P So rather than collecting tools of destruction, I collect good books, good movies, and old keys I've found on the ground haha

Key collect themselves. By 70 most men will have over 100 keys, and only know what 10 of them are for. *When the cost of travel is affordable
