Latin name: Incendia Silicis Translation: Fire Rock
Species: Fire Dragon
Egg:Due to their thick shells, these eggs require extreme heat in order to incubate correctly, with the perfect conditions usually being a few feet under the rim of an active volcano. While clutches can range from 1-3 eggs, females rarely lay them close together. These eggs literally explode when the babies hatch, sending molten shell all over, and being together in a nest could potentionally harm clutch-mates. Once born, the dragonets are generally self-reliant, but don't go far from their volcano home until they properly learn to regulate their body temperatures while away from a heat source.

Habitat: Anywhere with volcanic actibity, as well as some scourching hot deserts
Characteristics: Behavior: These dragons have the ability to be as unpredictable as an explosion, or as subdued as a glowing ember. However, it doesn't take a lot to get them going, and it can be hard to stop them once they're on a roll.
