HA HA HA! It's so funny! You see, I started writing a sci fi adventure story but now it's a mystery story slowly crawling into a story with social and political claims of it's own, depicting a brave new world and ninety eighty four mash up of sorts! HA HA HA! HELP ME. emotion_0A0
I fear the story is running amok and about to dive head first into it's own a** becoming pretentious and not so likeable.

I have had this happen a couple times as well. It ussually happens when I didn't have a great enough grasp of the plot line.
What I would suggest is to create an outline of what you want to take place in the story. The events that happen, the places the characters go, and the character's reactions to these experiences. It doesn't have to be extremely detailed or structured, but the outline should keep your ideas on track as well as keep the story from running away from you.
Another idea is to write down the main points you want to make in the story. If you start writing something that deviates too greatly from these points, stop yourself and review your list to remember what points you want to make, rather than what points the story wants to make.

Such as a story based on plan A a story based on plan B and so on. It is more work since you are writing the same story mulltiple times, but if you can successfully separate the different ideas, you can then choose your favorite possibility and then go from there.
