This is the meeting room, where all the members of all teams may spend some time talking and exchanging impressions....or glares sweatdrop
EDIT: This room will be assigned also to non fighting characters. It's not obligatory for your character to be part of a team or take part in battles. Your character might as well just have come to watch the tournament or to cheer on someone. Until we make a room for 'guests and non-participants' ,supportive characters will be found here. END OF EDIT

She had already checked the rooms and made sure that they had all the accommodations. Now all that was left was to either go find participants or just sit and wait for them to come to her. "I'll just turn into my fox form and walk around a little. Should I stay outside or go back inside? ... I'll stay out here I guess, maybe I'll draw a picture while I'm out here."

At some point he'd managed to find tea and had seated himself at a large window, stretched across the ledge. A leg propped up as the other hung, hot cup held in hands. A curious bunch had shown for the tournament and so far he was the only part of his team to be around to size them up. It was infuriating. Where were they? Why hadn't they shown? Perhaps he'd need to go hunting for them. No doubt Kurama at the very least would come; the fox had told him such. An exasperated sigh slipped past lips. "Idiots."

The meeting room was very open and inviting. Not many people were milling around the space, but that didn't bother Rayna. She delicately strode over the wooden floors, her white flats dangling in her left hand. Not sure about the customs, the demon thought it responsible to remove her shoes before walking on the pretty floor. The light scent of tea invited her to one of the low sitting tables. "Perfect, just what I wanted" her voice was low as she sat down on the pink cushion and poured herself a cup of the steaming liquid. Her hand brushed the lether pouched tied to her waist and wondered when she should be meeting Miyuki about the team.

How do you tell your mother you won't be around for a few weeks because you've been invited to participate in a tournament to determine the king of the demon world?
Simple: you don't.
"My apologies," smiled Kurama from against the wall beside Hiei's window. The fox had a habit of seeming to materialize out of thin air. Green glanced sidelong at his friend, scent of tea mingled with the foreign fragrance of the new fighters he must have encountered. The younger youkai must have been impatient, being the first of their team to arrive. "Departure took longer than I expected."
Attention flit about the faces of the room, smile cordial whenever eye contact was made. When he spoke, however, it was still Hiei he addressed. "Have you had a chance to assess the competition?"

About twenty minutes after she decided to stop with her training, Miyuki moved to the meeting room. She took her shoes off before heading inside. She looked around for a moment before deciding to join the girl with the tea. She wasn't for making friends, but the girl did have something of interest for her. Miyuki offered a small, uncommon and unpracticed smile to the girl, "May I have some tea?" She tried to make the usually cold tone of her voice light and semi-friendly.

The sound of Kurama's voice came to his ears and he grunted in response, glower shot to the fox. Why something like the youko would be so submissive to that stupid human woman, he didn't know. Either way, Kurama was here and that meant they only needed to wait for two more. That and the fifth. "There is a youkai who claims to have two Jagans." It was ridiculous as far as Hiei was concerned. Red eyes shifted to take in the newest entrants, resting for a moment on the girls conversing over tea. He sipped his own, paying little attention to the hotness.
"Yusuke and the idiot have yet to show. We still need a fifth."

ȾѦϮϛυϓΆ Tatsuya sighed, running a hand through his jet black hair, golden eyes flickering to look at the forest surroundings. Damn, when he signed up for this he thought it was going to be solo, like it was the first time through. Where the hell was he supposed to find a team that suited him? Then again....hm, well, one way to find out- Make his entrance! So, reaching into pouch on his waist, he pulled out a handful of powder before he tossed it on the ground, the cloud engulfing him and taking him to the nearest sources of energy. He landed in a crouch, a smirk on his face as he looked around the room. He had to see people's reactions, it was one of his better entrances yet(though, not as flashy as he wanted it to be)! He stood to his feet, the light grey outfit hugging his form perfectly so everything was accented just like it was needed. If this didn't get him noticed, he could always go to the training grounds he spied a little ways from whatever room this was.

Brows lifted. Two Jagans? "I see. I wasn't aware there was more than one Jagan," he mused smoothly, propping an elbow in his palm to rest his chin between thumb and forefinger. "Curious indeed. Even if they are Jagan, wouldn't the presence of two such entities in a single host do more harm than good? I can't imagine the eyes would tolerate one another."
He would have delved further, but discussing such didn't seem wise in uncertain company. Even if they seemed to be no more than a couple of young girls enjoying tea together. This was makai. Here, it was best to assume the blossoms were as poisonous as they were sweet.
"Yusuke might be having trouble departing as well." Keiko had good reason to want the boy to stay, after all. "But if he arrives, Kuwabara will surely follow." It was only a matter of time.
Mention of the fifth reminded him of Genkai's absence. Regrettable as it was, he wouldn't have wanted her to participate. After giving her power to Yusuke, she was too weak to be of much use. No sense in meaningless death.
"Until then, we should keep an eye out for unaffiliated fighters. Since the rooms are reserved for teams, we seem to be well situated here to encounter them as they arrive."
POOF.
Smoke tendrils exploded from air abruptly displaced, entrance of oddly familiar spirit energy accented by the smirk which emerged as if on cue. Kurama looked up to meet the golden gaze of what smelled like one of his own, vulpine and as flashy as a certain youko had been in the old days.
The smile was small. He said nothing to the newcomer, but let him feel the weight of his gaze as it measured every detail.

A shrug was all he gave, arms crossing over his chest. "He could have a hundred and all I'll need is my sword to slay him." Hiei was the Jaganshi, after all. If anyone knew how they operated, it was him. He knew the weakness of the Jagan just as well as its strength.
A puff of smoke brought a distraction and he glanced in the direction of what could only be a kitsune. One brow rose skeptically. Apparently Kurama had competition in the pretty-boy department. If the room started smelling overwhelmingly of flowers soon, he'd be taking a swift leave. For now the imiko was content to watch over the rim of his cup, large reds fixed and awaiting.

ȾѦϮϛυϓΆ He almost frowned, only two noticed his entrance? He really didn't make it flashy enough after all. Ah well, no point in redoing an entrance when a repeat performance wouldn't be as unexpected. Besides, he looked the measuring gaze sent his way by both the red-eyed fire demon(at least he was pretty sure it was a fire demon, his element was reacting) and one of his kind, a silver though. Well, he had some attention, might as well use it. He walked over, his swagger confident without being overly rude. "Well, at least I'm not the only fox here, though for a moment it was hard to scent," he said, the smirk refusing to leave his lips as he assessed the form before him. The energy was powerful, from both of them and it made his aura hum with excitement, and the fox wasn't too bad looking. Deciding to test his luck, he gave a partial bow as he stuck his right hand out, creating two flowers of flames on his hand. "I'm afraid I have no true rose right now, so this will have to do. I am Tatsuya, may I enquirer what your names are? With two handsome and powerful men in my midst, I cannot ignore your presences," he explained. Hell, just because he liked women didn't mean he didn't appreciate those of his own gender. Especially fellow foxes, even if he himself was only half.: biggrin on't worry, he's just being a playboy, not really serious on dating either of you::

Eons had a way of etching themselves into those old enough to survive them. By the way this one behaved, Kurama suspected he was a very young fox-- and not entirely pure, either, the musk of his scent flavored with harder, more metallic notes. Interesting.
The flames were a surprise. Surely inherited from the other parent, likely the father, since most kitsune tended to be female. Kurama took a moment to let the stranger's aura settle in like a particularly intriguing incense, as patient as the other was flamboyant.
Though perhaps just as much amused.
"Tatsuya, it's a pleasure. I am Kurama, and this is Hiei, my partner." A cordial gesture indicated Hiei beside him. "We are of Team Urameshi."
The flame roses were, like the flattery, utterly ignored. It was purposeful, of course, a subtle challenge for this one so keen on making an impression "Which team do you fight for, Tatsuya?"

Flowers. He knew there would be flowers. Granted they were made of fire and this was a surprise-- Hiei had not known of any mix breeds involving kitsune and fire youkai. Apparently, flames were popular this year. Not that they could ever compare to his own.
Tea finished, he rose to his full and meager height, chin high as the Jaganshi moved across the room. The two flamboyant foxes were no longer of interest, and he busied himself with setting the cup on a table and moving to a different window. One less occupied by feminine men with long, flowing hair. Reds fixed on the scene outside; the training ground seemed to have quieted down. Fingers fell to rest reflexively on the hilt of his sword. He was growing more impatient by the hour and there wasn't even anyone worth drawing his sword over.
"This is a waste of time." Muttering to himself in that baritone voice, the black cloaked form shoved hands in pockets and leaned irritably against the edge of the sill, watching the goings on below.

ȾѦϮϛυϓΆ Tatsuya let an eyebrow raise when there was no reaction to his theatrics, partially disappointed but at the same time egged on to get some sort of reaction out of this handsome fox in front of him. When neither man reacted to his flattery or accept the roses(for obvious reasons with the fox), he tossed the roses up, letting the flames turn into fluttering sparks that harmlessly rained down after changing colors a few times(mainly gentle blues and greens) as he raised from his bow. "An honor to meet you both," he replied, eyes subtly following the flame user as he left their presence. Hm, he would be a harder nut to crack, but he wasn't about to give up. His attention politely returned to Kurama when asked what team he was from, giving a nonchalant shrug. "None, as of yet. I was expecting it to be solo like the first so I didn't think to even attempt to create a team. Though I must say, it was well worth the extra time put into my most recent heist instead of finding people who may or may not work with me," he explained. Maybe bragging about being Honoo no Kitsune would get a reaction out of Kur-a-ma? The name given by the handsome fox finally registering with Tatsuya.
"Wait, are you THAT Kurama? The famous king of thieves, ruthless and cold to anyone who got in the way of his treasure?" he asked, eager and loosing his swagger just a bit. He'd get back to the challenge of impressing him after he confirmed whether or not this man was his childhood(and current, really) hero and the whole reason he became a thief in the first place. He didn't get as far as tail wagging, but his ears were perked, eager for the answer.

Rainbow fireflower tantrums. Oh, my. He couldn't be over a century and half old, if that. That he'd been to the first makai tournament was a detail Kurama carefully filed away in the thickening folder this Tatsuya was earning himself.
'--are you THAT Kurama?'
^___^;
"So it seems I've been discovered," he chuckled, shoving his hands into the pockets of his jeans. Human clothes for a human form, freshly arrived with no time to change into more suitable makai garments. "Yes, he and I are the same, in a sense." Green glanced to Hiei sulking not far off on a new windowsill, unsurprised with the distance he put between them. Tournaments weren't for flirting or fanboys; they were for fights, blood, guts spilled in wet smears on the arena. And as it stood presently, they couldn't even participate.
Not without that fifth member.
Attention shifted back to the excited young youkai, looking him over. "As it happens, we are in need of a fifth member to our team. Perhaps we can be of service to one another." If Tatsuya could prove his worth, of course. He was a thief and a firebrand, abilities Kurama could appreciate. But could he use them?
