So. I got back from TMEA (Texas Music{al?} Educators Association) a couple days ago. It's this music convention in San Antonio, Texas.. and if I understand correctly all band directors in Texas are required to go to it.
I was wondering if anyone has heard of it, goes to it, or has heard of/goes to something similar to it.
I went last year and this year with my sister-in-law, she's gonna be a band dahrectuh! O:
It's quite fun.. once you get to it. My brother, who was driving us, totally MISSED SAN ANTONIO.. HOW do you MISS San Antonio?! xd

my band goes to VBODA ((virginia band and orchestra directors association))
i guess its the same thing, but for virginia and not texas?
my school is a 25 ((well, we've only been awarded for fall so far, but we already know we're making 25)) consecutive year honor band ((the first and only band in virginia to do so))
we're cool.
they made an honor band hall of fame for us. x3
