I have a sad. I have Pokemon Red and Blue, and have had them for 10 years now... In a little less than a year, all cartridges of Red and Blue are going to lose their battery power, effectively deleting all save data on the cartridge.
I absolutely adore my Gen 1 Team, which I have cared for since I was 14. I don't want to lose them... Is there any way to take those Pokemon and move them to a DS title such as Soul Silver?
I don't care how many steps are required. I MUST save my team.

The original GB titles are not compatible with any other system versions.
The only one compatible are the GBA-DS and DS-DS, and these are only one way (the older ones transferring to the newer ones)

There's no way to transfer OG Pokemon from Gameboy to Gameboy Advance?
I swear I heard of a method...

You can try it with an old-school transfur cable and see if that works. I've heard it go both ways.

Are you sure that the information is legitimate? Somehow it just doesn't exactly sound right. However the only method I could honestly think of as far as saving your team goes will be a long journey. R/B to G/S to R/S then FR/LG or D/P to HG/SS

once you get your pokemon to D/P, you can transfer them to B/W
