We've run into them. Even those that do not beleive in God, or beilive what He has said. Many pro-aborts have said that the Bible is either silent on the case or supports abortion on demand in some instences. I have read and understand (this in no way makes me an expert though) an essay written to refute they common arguments that many pro-aborts use to say that God and the Bible are not agianst abortion. http://www.issuesetc.org/resource/archives/klsdorf2.htmDiscussion? Further links and refrences as to the contrary of what abortionist are saying, and even supportign what they're saying are welcome.

I got another one for you:
You don't have to be a freaky deaky bible scholor/pastor to know that one of the ten comandments was: Do not murder. Which is pritty reasonable, or we would have dead bodys all over the place.

The problem with that is it account sonly for humans. And there are chrsitaind and Jews who think (contrary to logic, scientific, and biblical evidence) that the pre-born ar enot human and are not protected by God's law.
You have to first proove to them that the pre-born are biblicly human before they accept that Though Shalt Not Murder accounts for the pre-born.
The only verse that clearly and glaringly does this (1)
How ever, there are some that beleive that the ancient jews didn't beleive the fetus was human. Problem with this is that there are no proof to their claims, and their is sufficent proof agianst their claims.

didn't they believe in the homunculus back then? no, not the fullmetal alchemist homunculus, the actual alchemy homunculus... basically, the thought was that there were actually miniature people inside the semen which, when implanted in a woman's uterus, would simply grow in size, rather than grow from one cell to billions. so, back in those days, it WAS a complete human inside them, the entire time. just smaller. now, this is discredited by modern science and technology, but that does not change the previous thought that it was in fact a small, whole human.

Umm... Actually, typically, the homunculus is fairly similar to the Full Metal Alchemist deal. ^_^;; Although, actually, the ones in FMA would probably be golems, not homunculuses. But, really, homunculuses are just golems, except smaller. And that idea was thought up in 1694, so they would have not -yet- thought it up. Wikipedia- Homunculus

In fact, if you go to that exact same site and switch from "dictionary" to "encyclopedia," it gives you the exact same definition as Wikipedia.

it just sounds like an excuse to me, really... "it's not in the bible, so it MUST be accepted by God!" the same one choicers commonly denounce and belittle...

Pro-choicers actually use the Bible? Wow. That's kind of stupid on their part, I'd imagine. I mean, the reality is that it's pretty stupid on anyone's part to use the Bible as evidence, unless they're saying "I'm a Christian, and here is why I believe such."

Can anyone seriously use the Bible to back up anything? Come on, it says slavery's fine and dandy as long as you use people from a different country.
