The Old Highway
Leading into the city is a highway that at one time had far more exercise than it is getting now. This main artery into the city was quickly overrun as it's inhabitants' arteries were.. split. Though there are many vehicles gridlocked on the exiting end of the spectrum, it is very evident to anyone who looks that there weren't many enthusiasts on entering the city by the lack thereof... However, the vehicles that are left behind can prove to be quite the source of survival, and otherwise, goods... If you search hard enough. Don't be surprised though if not all the inhabitants left... or were left as is...

 Younger threw her cigerette on the floor as she walked down the old high way... She had just come back from fighting with some of the civilians just north outta town... Younger had her dauls pistols in her hands and was waiting for any kind of zombie to come get her... Her bandana was covering her left eye... She had lost her eye patch saving a little child... Her face was covered in zombies blood but it didn't really bother her... Younger looked on the floor and saw bodies on the as per usual... This had become the norm to her... Younger heard a loud groan and she grinned and thought 'time to play!'
Younger put up her two daul psitols and shot one of the cars which was laying abandoned and the car alarm started to go of alerting every one close that someone was either in trouble or looking for a fight with a zombie... Finally a zombie came running out from one of the cars blood dripping from its mouth... Younger grinned like a miniac and shot the zombie in it's head... Soon enough she knew she shouldn't of done what she did as she was surronded by mer thousands of zombies all looking for her sweet flesh so she did what she knew she could do best... She bought out one fo her many grenades and started to run away... She took the grenade in her right hand and waited for the right moent and threw the grenade at the zombies... Younger made it behind a car then heard a loud bang and the screamign from the zombies...
Younger panted lightly and wiped some of the blood from her face... A smirk covered her face and she laughed "it's good to be back baby!"

Mag started out the walk running on pure adrenaline, but the days without rest were taking their toll. She looked up at the orange-red sky and wondered how many hours they had left until night fall. They were lucky, to find a zombie-free strip of road. Robin trailed slightly behind, but she was able to keep up with the rest of the group.

Ryan looked across the deserted highway. Many many cars littered the highway but the lack of sound betrayed any possibility of there being anyone nearby. They were safe, for the moment. "Let us rest here while it is safe. Who knows when we will have another safe zone."

Ryan thought for a moment. "Actually, I have canteens in my pack, but I didn't stow away enough to sustain this many people for long so we will have to replenish them soon." Ryan took his pack off of Mag's shoulders -why she was even still carrying it, he wasn't sure. After opening it, he pulled out the only two full canteens he had left. He handed them out and finished the little bit of water left in a third canteen.

Mag groaned with exhaustion, "I agree... The city will probably be crawling with infected and night-time only makes it worse. It would be better to try again in the morning..." Mag looked over at Robin, who was panting and her face was red. "Maybe some of these cars have room to sleep inside them..."

Cray had already fallen asleep on the pavement, no need for cars. One near him might have gotten the vague idea to finally see what he's hiding under his gas mask, but whether they do is up to them. He snored loudly.
