Alright so this thread really won't do much unless people are fairly active. That said this thread gives those who are active a say in who is accepted or rejected based on their request to join the guild. I hope to have the turnaround on a request be three days at most so once a request is three days old, a decision will be made. Now because this is not a hidden guild I hope that those interested in joining will look in this thread before sending in their request.

Some of the things that should be taken into account when reviewing a request are if it is literate (i.e. no l33t or using 'u' in place of 'you'), if it conveys a sense of wanting to actually RP, and if the person actually knows what this guild is about.

(I will try and get some examples of good and bad applications up as soon as I can.)

Also all names will be removed from the applications when they are posted here.

Ok so usually I'm not one to bash requests, but this one hit on a pet peeve of mine. For the final time you do not become a werewolf you are one from birth! (At least in this RP) It doesn't take a lot of time reading through the threads to figure that this isn't a "Bite" guild. Those who do/have crewed this guild have put an enormous amount of time typing up everything written in this guild. We don't care if you role-played the best 1/3 werewolf-1/3 demon-1/3 vampire-ninja-goth in another guild, you still should read through the threads before sending in a request with any guild not just ours.


Note the lack of capitalization and separation of sentences. The real factor in the decision to decline the request was the misspelling of werewolf. If you can't spell werewolf you are going to have huge problems while in this guild. Overall this isn't a bad request and probably would have been accepted had spelling and grammar been checked.


The request is not only spelled correctly and has proper grammar, but it also conveys that the person actually knows what the guild is about. Also it isn't needed, but I appreciate the Thank you at the end. Most guilds actually spend time reviewing a request to join and it is just common decency to thank them.

Hello, I am very interested in joining your guild. I love the Werewolf: The Apocalypse, but unfortunately the people I tabletop RP with usually have become annoying and I no longer associate myself with them, and my current game on line (non-werewolf) has members that post every other blue moon. So, considering the above, I would be quite appreciative if you would allow me to join your Guild. Thank you. :3

I don't think it'll be worth it to let them join again. If they were so busy, they could've left a note in the 'Leave of Abscence' thread. That and their grammar/punctuation needs some work. But if a person does learn from past mistakes, a second chance wouldn't hurt.

The proof of this person's love for werewolves is proven by the fact that they almost spelled the word correctly! (Oh, wait, except it wasn't even close) P:
Besides, who cares that the very point of the guild is RPing and the person applying makes absolutely no mention of doing so? As long as they liek teh subjekt, rit??!?!?!! lol

I'm a bit dubious about the first one simply because of the grammar. However, if they can shape up when they role play, I'm good.

The second one.... eh.... sounds like they've mistaken a this guild for a Therian/Other Kin Guild. :/
