-How Kindness Tames the Beast- The Noble & His Cat On his way home one day, a young, lonely buisiness owner comes across a badly wounded 'tiger'. Feeling compasion for the poor creature, he brings it into his rather elegant house, planning to nurse him back to health, though, day two of having this new 'pet' seems to bring problems. As the 'tiger' regains his strength, he becomes ferocious and fierce, like a wild beast suddenly brought into captivity. As time goes on, it seems as if the beast only grows more cold to his saviour, at least until one day, the young man gathers the courage to try and pet the 'tiger'. I will be playing the Tiger(seme) and am looking for someone to play the Young Man(seke-uke mix). In order to be my partner for this roleplay, you must follow these rules: You must be literate, meaning your posts are not oneliners and your sentences must have structure.I will not accept posts under two paragraphs with at least ten sentences in each.If you are new to writing/roleplaying, I suggest you don't join this roleplay until you're seasoned enough to write meaningful sentences and play characters with a bit of depth to them. You must have good grammar, meaning if you don't know how to spell a word, Google it.If then you still can't find it, then just spell it to the best of your ability and I will make it out.You may also feel free to ask me if you need to.I don't like posts with crappy spelling, but mistypes are perfectly fine.No one is perfect, and I mistype all the time.It is human. As far as how often you post goes, I'm not too picky.I only ask for at least two posts a week unless you're going to not be able to post for longer. If said case is the problem, please PM me either before that time or after. Do not Join, then decide you want to quit. It's annoying to loose a roleplay partner, but not half as annoying as when they disapear out of the blue.If there is a problem that forces you to quit, please tell me through PM and don't just disapear on me. Now, if you're still interested after listening to my nag fest, please PM me or post here.I'll get back to you as soon as possible and will pop up a thread for the roleplay as soon as we're ready. smile

» » N E R O ▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀ The tracing breeze settled, the sun's ray had faded and dimmed. A young man, emerging from behind a glass door, a building that sold brand named clothing for a discount price. Something Nero thought of giving back to those who wouldn't enjoy pulling out a hundred bucks for a pair of fancy pants that had been pre-torn. He had many things to do, at least thats what he thought. The moment Nero would step through the door of his home he knew he'd just be clueless as to what to do. Loneliness was something that could do that to someone. Leave them somewhat bored out of their mind, he needed something to occupy him. As he continued down the street he tilted his head to the left. His eyes following a shadow move into what looked like a alley way what laid there seemed to be dead or not moving to his vision. Was it a bear? Maybe a cougar? Animals like such tended to stray into the city like this. After taking a step forward and narrowing his eyes it came into realization that what he saw looked like a person.
Stunned by the newly discovered fact Nero felt his curiosity jab him. Was he supposed to call someone? Maybe the police or um, animal control should handle the situation? But the poor thing seemed hurt, no he couldn't keep it Nero thought to himself. Walking forward trying to ignore the sight he had previously viewed he felt his curiosity shift into a torturing impulse and forced him to spin on his heel and walk back over to where he had been before. Only this time crossing the street, pulling out a cell phone he called a driver from his home. He didn't live far so he'd normally walk but the current situation seemed enough to change his way of transportation for now. Nero walked and stood over the injured...tiger? He blinked noting the animal parts and crouched down. Whispering a few times, trying to see if the male was awake. "Hey, are alright? Are you alive?" Nero asked, the question was though how casual he seemed to be using that sort of tone. Are you alive? Now thinking back on it he regretting the choice of wording and brushed it off.
[sorry I usually write more, I suck at first posts >.< but I'll make sure my next post will be twice as long =D.]

With pained groans from each breath he took, the 'cat' pushed on, not daring to stop now as he noticed he'd finally escaped his pursuers who would cruely punish him in as many ways as possible if he were ever caught.Yes, it wouldn't be long now before those humans sent others out to find him.The mere thought sent shivers down the tiger's spine and pushed him to actually start running on his sore feet once more, passing through alleys, running across streets as he alternated between running on all fours and two feet like a person. This 'cat' had not too long ago been the star attraction for a sort of carnival/freakshow type deal, but that wasn't the reason he'd ran away. While there, the tiger had been poorly taken care of, going for days without food, beaten daily, and the conditions he'd lived in were more than just disgusting. With all that going on, it was a wonder he hadn't left sooner than this, but everything had its time.It felt like hours that the tiger had kept up his quick pace until he slowed to a sort of canter, panting heavily before he leaned down to lick some of the wounds that had been inflicted earlier by the humans. It stung, but he didn't pay it any heed, simply licked them over a few times before stumbling on forward, hoping with all his might that they wouldn't find him.Soon, the tiger became exhausted and hungry, but seeing there was nothing to eat nearby, he simply layed/collapsed in the alley he'd currently been roaming through. His whole body ached, pain coursing through his being from just simply breathing. It felt like hell, but at least this one was better than back in that grummy cage that stank of some putrid, dying animal. As he lay there, the 'cat' nearly fell asleep, too tired to stay awake much longer, at least until he heard someone's footsteps approaching and almost hissed, though couldn't find the strength. He'd thought it was one of the humans that'd been chasing him, but once the human had spoken, he could tell the difference between them.Though he didn't know much, the tiger still knew a bit of the human language, just enough to get the gist of what the male had said.In response, the tiger gave a mix between a growl and a painful groan, his ears twitching back a bit as he instinctively curled his body.-Don't worry about it. smile -

» » N E R O ▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀ Nero looked at the 'cat' the injuries they looked serious but anything that had the effect of dripping blood seemed +a+to have that feeling on him. There also seemed to be bruises scattered around the male's body. Almost as though he had been beaten, was he from a nearby habitat? Maybe a slave trade escapee? After asking the question he heard a almost growling sound come from the 'cat' he perked back a little bit before taking another step forward. Crouching over the other's body Nero made a worried smile. He couldn't just leave him here right? He should rescue him, bring him back home right? Thinking about it a bit more he knew that had to have been a bad idea. After all this was a person, but there had to be a reason he was hurt.
As he looked at the 'cat' it didn't occur to Nero that the limousine had began up the road. Catching the sound of the vehicle approaching him and the fallen male. When the limo finally pulled up to the two Nero looked at the 'cat' once more and smiled lightly. Parts of him felt like this was still a bad idea but in majority he was positive that he was doing the right thing. The question was now, how to get him into the vehicle. Standing up he clasped his hands together, rubbing them in a physical manner. What he was about to do he knew was going to be impossible. "Okay, I guess I'll just try-" Crouching back down he scooped the tiger up for perhaps a few minutes. His legs began to wobble and it was like his legs were going to cave if he tried fully standing. To his surprise though he was moving, and was able to get the tiger into the vehicle. Well half of him at least, as he stood there gasping and writhing in slight pain from carrying someone heavier than himself he pulled the other male the rest of the way in and closed the door. He didn't want to touch the 'cat' too much. Who knew if he would try to lash out at him.
As they reached the home the driver pulled up to the front of the home. Larger men in suits at the gates, Nero's home was in actuality a large mansion. For a small business owner he had been given a tremendous inheritance from his parents. Unfortunately they had both passed away when he was twelve. Enough money to support his entire life he decided to give back to those who needed clothes. When the limo stopped Nero opened the vehicle's door. Waving over a few larger men Nero spoke an order, "Take him to a room, I'll treat his wounds accordingly." Nero said, this was all very exciting. He hadn't been this excited before, loneliness usually flooded him like a tidal wave when he had walked passed the front door. Now he had, someone at least he thought so at the moment.
The men picked the tiger up gently, well somewhat. Ignoring any glare that might come their way. Entering the large home a large chandelier floated over their head, glass bulbs shining onto them. Nero followed just behind as they took the animal into a room, setting him onto a soft sheeted bed. Leaving as Nero entered, holding a white medical kit. Nero looked at the wounds, and nervously tried to figure out what to do, unbuckling the medical kit, an assortment of bottles, bandages and medical creams top of the line as well. "I can make the pain go away. Then you can get some rest." Nero said, getting out a small pill he held it between to fingers. Tapping his lips, not sure if the tiger entirely understood what Nero might say. "Open. It'll help." Nero spoke, looking almost worriedly at the 'cat'.

It was frustrating, the 'cat' couldn't even move a muscle other than to breathe, and even then it was a desperate fight to stay alive with just that.He felt so helpless, so defenseless, like he was a kit all over again, just waiting for his mother to come and save him from this nightmare. But the tiger knew full and well that this was no nightmare, it was hell, and it was real. The tiger could almost cry from how badly he wanted to escape all humans, though, seeing as he was in their territory, it was nearly impossible, especially since there was one human standing there with him, most likely one just like the others he'd known all his life.
As much as he wanted to resist when he felt his body being lifted, the tiger couldn't, his strength seeming to be blown away like it was never there in the first place.Seeing as he also had nothing to hide his bare skin from this human didn't help his nerves at all, actually stressing him more than before. He felt himself being shoved in a somewhat confined space, one that he knew very well to be a car, one thing he truely dispised. He never really had liked riding around in the huge, metal death traps that humans parused in so easily and comfortably.
As the car drove, the tiger tried to snarl, though it sounded more like a failed growl, followed by the painful rumbling of his stomach, which, sadly, was louder than any of his warning attempts. The cat hadn't eaten in a while, leaving him starving and exhausted now and possibly on the verge of malnutrition. He was in pretty bad shape, probably the worst he'd ever been in, though, he didn't expect it to be for long.
Humans were cruel, selfish creatures that had no problem exploiting the weaknesses and fears of others for personal gain. That, if nothing else was burned into the tigers mind as a scar from personal experience. Not once had the 'cat' experienced any shape or form of kindness from the humans, only terror and fear, but mostly hate.He hated the humans for taking him from his mother as a kit, he hated them for beating him, he hated them for abusing him and exploiting him in their carnival, he just hated them.
Soon, he could feel the car come to a stop and mentally groaned at the sickening feeling of car sickness coming over him in unstopppable waves. As much as he wished he could, he couldn't find it in him to let the feeling drift away by simply vomiting, his body couldn't find the energy to waste on such a thing as that. His ear gave a tiny twitch at the human's voice, listening for any hostility, but he found none, surprisingly. He could sense no molevolent intent, no hatred, no sarcasm, no anger, just a giddy feeling of warmth.Of course, the tiger didn't let his guard down, his trust of humans still being nothing at all, this human would be no different from the rest.
Again the tiger was picked up, though not as clumsily as before, and much more roughly, as if whoever was carrying him was completely disguste with the chore. It didn't matter, it wasn't exactly like he was thrilled to be picked up by them either. Not too long after being picke up, the atmosphere changed, the air seeming more caked and less pristine as perfumed scents flew into the 'cats' senses, something that would cause him to have a meltdown if he had the strength to do so.
Out of nowhere, a soft, cushionymedium met the 'cat', almost convincing him he was dead and had gone to meet with his ancestors, at least until he caught the scent of the human once more and gave a squeeky growl. At this point, the tiger really didn't care if he died, just so long long as he could get away from this human.Once again the male spoke in his native tongue, something the tiger couldn't understand, then pressed a finger to the 'cats' lips more than once.Without realizing what exactly he was doing, the 'cat' opened his mouth, hoping to bite the humans' finger, if possible.

» » N E R O ▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀ Nero was hesitant at first but dropped the pill in the 'cat's mouth. Drawing his hand back as he waited a few seconds, knowing the male wouldn't have enough strength to probably spit it out. Smiling lightly Nero dug around inside the small medical kit, getting out a bottle of transparent oil. Something to help healing bruises and ease burning any sort of bleeding or infection. It was something Nero's maids would use when he was a kid and would return inside with scrapes and bruises.
Rubbing the liquid on his hands it created a slightly chilling effect from it reacting to the crisp air. Extending his hands over the 'cat's body he slowly and ever so gently began spreading it onto the wounds. He knew somewhat that he shouldn't be too rough while applying it, otherwise the person on the receiving end could experience bits and pieces of annoying pain. Nero wondered what would happen once his 'pet' got better. Curious as to what he himself was going to do. Obviously the other staff didn't enjoy the 'tiger' simply huffing as they passed the door. Butlers worried of being mauled, maids gossiping away about why Nero had bought a part-animal creature and not something small, like a rabbit.
As he began wrapping bandages around the 'cat's body from abdomen to ankles he clapped his hands together when he was finished. "There all done." He said proudly, then thinking for a moment. Pulling a chair from a nearby desk, Nero sat down, crossing a leg over another. "So, are you hungry? At all?" The young blonde asked, though he hadn't gotten a response aside from growls and gurgling noises. It became slightly obvious that maybe the 'cat' didn't even understand what he was saying.
Standing up Nero decided maybe his new 'pet' would need to get used to the environment for a while. As for Nero he knew everyone in the mansion wanted to know who their knew resident was. As he walked down a hallway he was intersected by the head butler, Samuel. His aged skin and irritated gaze told Nero he was obviously less than supportive of what the young man had done.
Stopping Nero he grabbed him by the sleeve his questions suddenly taking the blonde by surprise. "Sir, you can't honestly believe of keeping....that here. Do you?" He said, his words causing Nero to narrow his eyes a bit before yanking his arm away. "He isn't a that, and yes....I want to keep him." Nero said, spinning on his heel before going toward the kitchen. Samuel obviously not resting on his protest, "Sir, what will your father say when he catches word of this?" The butler asked but Nero just kept walking, mostly because he had absolutely no idea himself.

As a pill was dropped into his mouth, the tiger was confused, though reflexively swallowed it with a bit of effort, his breathing slowing a bit to a somewhat normal pace, or at least more normal than it had been.He twitched his ears, feeling a bit better from laying on the softness of the object beneath him, but he was still insanely sore.He didn't know why this human was treating him so gently and kind, he'd never been treated like this before by anyone at all. What if this human was the doctor he visited every so often?
Suddenly, something cold came into contact with the tiger's skin, making him twitch every time it was pressed against his wounds due to the icy shock it gave him.He occassionally gave a hiss and growl, but more thn anything tensed, finding his will to move, even just a little. He feared that this human would only fix him up to send him right back to the carnival, the one place he never wanted to return to for the rest of his life.Soon, the icyness left and the tiger could hear whispers of other humans in the shelter, setting him on edge all the more.
Some new sensation began encircling his body, some kind of flap-like substance being placed on his wounds before the human began to speak once more in his confusing language. He didn't reply, just sat there giving slight pants as he waited for something to happen next, his fear still pounding deep inside him.Soon, the sound of the human leaving filled the roon, then silence before once more whispers echoed around.
They slowly came closer until they sounded as if they were right beside the tiger, making him tense once more while he waited for something to happen.Suddenly, a hand grabbed his tail and gave it a hard tug, causing the 'cats' adrenaline to kick in as his yellow eyes snapped open wide.Without warning, he flipped so he was on all four and gave a loud growl to the maids that were now all squealing in fear as they dashed out of the room,The tiger, scared himself dahsed over to a tall dresser and lept to te top, hissing and scratching at all the other adendants that came to see what was going on.

» » N E R O ▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀ Nero was walking back from fetching his new 'pet' some food, nothing all to fancy, just a large steak. Deciding pampering the male could send the 'cat' into culture shock and begin to cause havok. As those thoughts raced through his mind a maid had passed him flailing her arms and screaming as though there was a bloody murder. Although Nero didn't want to believe it he let a worried smiled play on his face as he walked into the direction his new 'pet's room. Though sighed seeing the group of butlers, maids, and other staff congregating around the doorway. For the love of every sense of reason, what was going on?
Nero stood behind them holding the plate, "What on Earth are you all doing?!" The young man shouted the staff quickly jolting upward. Looking at Nero with almost fear filled glares, the staff grouping around him asking him questions. "What have you brought in here?! Do you have any idea how dangerous that ... that thing! Can be?!" She said clearly pissed off, though Nero only blinked at the maid that stood over him and let his eyes narrow a bit. "Don't ever talk to me like that again! If you all hadn't tried harassing him he wouldn't be up on the dresser! Now all of you get out!" Nero ordered, surprised the staff mumbled few words but obeyed their employer. Leaving the room, Nero only sighed as he walked into scene to see the bed sheets messy and small bits of blood, perhaps from a scratch or to the butlers may have been given.
In Nero's mind they had deserved it, he didn't want anyone hurting his 'pet', nobody. Looking at the tiger he lessened his anger filled expression to one of more of an apologetic approach. "I'm sorry, did they hurt you?" He asked, though remembered that apologizing wouldn't do much if his 'cat' didn't understand him. Remembering the meal he had brought Nero smiled, set it on the bed, hoping it would get the tiger to come down from so high up on the dresser. It actually had surprised him how fast the 'cat' was able to get his energy back so quickly. Hoping that the 'cat would at least come down to eat. Deciding to sit down once more on the desk's chair once more he waited for something to happen.

As the tiger continued his chorus of growling, the staff had drawn away from the door and were all speaking quite loudly to the first male he'd met and was still extremely cautious about about. His tail flicked about angrilly, beating against the dresser so the whole house would know how irritated he really was, especially the male who'd brough him here in the first place.Though, as much as he disliked this place, there was something that smelled delicious nearby and the tiger wanted it.His stomach growled and he licked his lips at the scent, lifting his head to sniff in the air so he could tell where it was coming from.
Soon the human entered once more, the good smell following him closely, though, reguardless the tiger still hissed, showing off his nice, carnivorous teeth as if to tell him to back off.The human spoke before setting something on the bed and goeing to take a seat in a chair that wasn't too far away from the bed.The tiger let his yellow gaze swivle between the human and the nice piece of meat sitting on the bed that made his stomach growl loudly, though he didn't move.
After about five minutes of the standoff, the tiger licked his lips before jumping down on the floor with a hiss to the human, his ears perked for any sign of movement. The tiger slowly stalked over to the food, peering up over the edge of the bed at the human once more before he snatched the steak off the bed and brought it to the floor, knawing on it hungrilly as he began to pur quietly. His teeth cut the meat easily as he took bite after bite until it was gone.He peered up over the bed once more, searching for more, but finding none, he glared at the human.

» » N E R O ▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀ Nero began to tense a bit, it was as though the tiger was truly contemplating attacking him. Though the young man didn't blame him, after all the things he probably had to go through plus what had just occurred was more than enough to irritate anybody. After somewhat of a 'staring contest' the tiger jumped down and actually devoured the meat fairly quickly. Frowning slightly at how fast the male at it Nero couldn't help but almost feel a bit of laughter tempt his lips to giggle. The cat had purred in a way it was sort of cute despite the fussing he had done earlier, hissing and what not. Though the glare the cat gave him must have been a sign he was still hungry.
Sighing a little bit Nero ran a hand through his hair, "Eh? Still hungry huh? Well you shouldn't eat so fast, your get a stomach ache." Nero said though he knew the other didn't understand him. Calling out to a butler Nero instructed for more food to be brought to ... well Nero wasn't exactly sure what to call this cat. Ted? No. Thane? Hrm. Tora? The last option seemed to ring well in his mind. "Tora." He spoke, it sounded just as nicely as he thought. Looking down at the golden eyes that seemed to look at him Nero waited a while before the butler returned with the plates. Sliding them over onto the floor, if Nero was with a less intimidating person the bulter might have put it on a surface. However Tora seemed to emit some fear into the staff. Pity Nero was looking forward to everyone getting along, oh well he wasn't even sure if the tiger knew how to use silver ware anyway.
Looking at two plates with ravishing pieces of meat Nero waited for Tora to pounce once more. The sky was beginning to darken and turn a pale black. Surprising to Nero time seemed to have gone by so quickly. He was having fun though in a sort of dangerous way maybe but curious to see more of Tora's movements.

(Huzzah!!And it's all good. :3 I liked your post a lot. <3 )
The tiger watched the boy as he spoke, only picking up on a few bits of the words he'd spoken, though it wasn't enough to make any sense to the cat.He watched the other, trying to interpret his body language and tone of voice to discover his mood and intentions, wanting to know if this man was friend or foe.The male then spoke what seemed to be a name, 'Tora', making the cat's ears twitch curiously. The tiger, now Tora, watched continuously, his tail flickering almost expectantly for more food from the other. The male had spoiled him just by giving him such a lavish meal, now Tora would simply expect to be spoiled more by being fed again.Such a cat would surely have been beaten back at the carnival until he fully appreciated that he was even fed at all.
Ears perked and tail swishing along the carpet, Tora kept his golden gaze on the two plates of meat that smelled so heavenly. He almost padded over to them imediately, though stopped to give another glare to the human, merely watching him with a skeptical look in his gold hues. After a few momment of yet another stand off, Tora slowly and hesitantly crawled towards the plates, snatching one of the steaks off once he was within distance of it.He backed away a foot or two before plopping down and knawing on the hunk of warm meat.Just as before, Tora quickly finished the second piece and moved on to his third, copying his movements from before until he became full. With a soft pur, Tora padded around the other side of the bed and hopped on it, curling up on the pillows. He didn't dare close his eyes as he continued to stare at the human, not trusting him to be able to sleep in the same room.

» » N E R O ▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀ Nero watched Tora, almost in a way studied him. The male in front of him was truly interesting, those ears, and that tail. They were both so animal-like. Then again Tora was half-tiger, or so Nero assumed for the jumping on furniture and lack of understanding what Nero was saying. The two seemed to be having this staring game more often, it was a bit odd for the butler to simply slide the plates in instead of at least handing them to Nero. Though the potential risk of losing a limp was possible when giving food to a hungry tiger. The young man watched as Tora knawed on the meat. It was almost as though Nero found nothing else more exciting as he smiled lightly at the cat. He was obviously more than content with spoiling the tiger, it was one of his flaws really.
As Tora finished and plopped back onto the bed Nero watched the tired expression come onto Tora's face. Though was wondering why the tiger didn't simply fall asleep. Soon enough it became obvious and Nero decided it was probably a trust factor. Oh well, it was probably going to take allot more than just food to gain this cat's trust. However Nero was willing to play the stubborn and patient type. He wasn't going to give up looking for something playful from the tiger. Even though the staff had already formed a dislike for Tora. After a few minutes Nero got up yawning himself, a few of his golden stands of hair falling over his right eye.
Deciding he was going to have to give in their little stand off Nero made a noddy goodnight to Tora. Walking to the door and waving goodbye before flicking off the lights but keep the door open. It was a mystery as to whether the tiger enjoyed having light around him while he slept and wasn't really up for playing the soothing role and getting him to fall asleep again. "Goodnight Tora, Sweet dreams." He said sweetly, running a hand through his hair before walking off down the hall. The staff already scarce probably dusting and whatnot. Whatever the case may have been he was ready for some shut eye.
Entering his room Nero changed into his pajamas, a red silk buttoned shirt with black shorts. Slipping into his room, he laid his head onto the pillow. Closing his eyes before suddenly feel the light flick on. It burned for a moment and caused Nero to cover his face with a nearby pillow. It was yet another butler, "Sir! That beast had nearly bit me! Are you still considering keeping that,...thing?" The elderly man had asked, right now Nero wasn't exactly interesting in hearing what the butler had to say. However he needed to make this crystal clear as to what he was doing at this point. "Tora." Nero muffled under the pillow, flicking a finger to show he was somewhat communicating visually. The butler puzzled quickly began wondering what Nero had said. "Pardon sir?" He asked, the air becoming slightly silent, as though there were others outside listening.
Nero sighed and tossed the pillow onto the edge of the bed. His eyes drowsily looking at the butler. "His name is Tora. He is mine and you are not to do anything but show him the equal respect you show me. Got it? Good, now please let me get some sleep." Nero said somewhat whining toward the end as the butler finally sighed, before flicking off the light. So that was that and the night had began as the moons beams gleamed through the window, stars almost shining onto the floorboard individually. Nero's hair drifting and falling against the pillow as he fell asleep, hugging the sheets.
