Updates//Personality: Her initial goal in life was to look for or fashion better tools and weapons for use in traveling. She looks for better tools and weapons so that she can modify what she already has because she is a bit of a creative perfectionist and a survivalist. She is also usually not one to be led around by others unless she thinks it absolutely necessary. Along the way she will develop a desire to start observing Time lords that she meets as well as other species of aliens(including humans), at first out of curiosity but eventually because she wishes to make friends and isn't sure how because she is use to being alone. She isn't necessarily a good guy some of her ideas can lead her to be quit troublesome to others much of the time. She has a Tardis of her own although I'm not sure how she came to own it yet. I still have to work on background history and how she came to be who she is but at least I have a start. Ideas are still appreciated I will continue updating as I come across new ideas and information for my character.

Side Note Ideas: I was thinking maybe one of her devices could be some sort of clockwork wrench or something like that but I'm still working on it. It would have a clock face button on the side for activating some sort of feature on it but still working on the details. Also thinking she may have a sonic screwdriver and possibly a cat that isn't quite as ordinary as it seems at first glance and that she inherited them both from someone she met many years ago in her travels.
Ralphina: Feminine form of English Ralph, meaning "wise wolf." My character never thought to give herself a title cause she became an orphan at such a young age but during her teenage years she meets another female Time Lord during her travels and this very old Time Lord acts as a sister to my character. They become close friends always leaving messages for each other to find and occasionally traveling together. She eventually decides to give my character the name Ralphina as she had studied many different species of animals on different planets and decided my character was wise and cautious as the wolf of planet earth. Although she explains the meaning my character has never been to earth yet so she is confused as to the meaning. The older Time Lord promises that eventually they will visit the planet together so that she can see this animal but the promise is never fulfilled as the older Time Lord meets her end under unfortunate circumstances. I will be adding more detail to this part of my character's background after I come up with the rest of her history. Any thoughts on the name and background for it?



Her outfit is based off the one The Master is wearing right after he finishes regenerating into his younger self.

My character is going to have a fob watch that looks like the pocket watch from fullmetal alchemist except the inscription scratched on the inside of the watch will say "Accept who you are even if no one else does." Instead of what they actually have on the fullmetal alchemist watch.

lol at sonic swiss army knife but nah that's not the kind of weapon for her, I guess I will look into why she left Gallifrey first then. I'll be sure to bump my thread when I have new info added into my first post.

Last Time Lord OCs I made were a comedic relief self-insert and a Slenderman regeneration of the Doctor.

My recommendation is to pick a central theme for your character and go from there. What is his or her purpose in life?

Hmm, how somebodies mind works can take a long time to decipher or explain. I don't think she has found a serious purpose for her life other then to survive and find fun or interesting things to occupy her time with for now. I don't think her character will really change or develop till she starts interacting with other characters since she was use to being alone for most of her life growing up. I guess she will just kind of change with the story, I mean people don't stay the same and neither does the doctor (although his personality changes are usually more drastic lol). I think for the beginning she will be willing to chat with others but not take any real interest in actually getting to know them till later on. She will probably do as she pleases whether it offends anyone or not much of the time and disappear quit often when something else catches her eye. Does any of that sound good?

That all sounds very good, but I still stand by my point: every character needs a purpose. A goal. Leezy wants to find a place to belong, Tall Doctor wants to defeat the Silence, my Doctor wants to find happiness, my Storm character from X-Men wants to meet new people and expand her worldview... Even if it's something generic and small like that, you'll lose interest in her if she wanders around aimlessly. That's how my first few years of RP took nosedives into failure. I didn't give my characters motivation, and they never did anything.

That's definitely something you could use! So now that you have that, you can work backwards.

Why does she want to create or find better tools? Is she an innovator or inventor? Is she a survivalist? Is she just always well-prepared?

Why does she want to observe? Perhaps she's an anthropologist, or the Gallifreyan equivalent? I like to work backwards from my goals. I would examine these goals you've come up with for her, and then think about why she has them, and build her background off of that.

So you've got answers to these questions. That's good. Basically, from here, it's like Inception. You have to go deeper and deeper, and it'll spread out like tree roots until you can piece together a background for her. Why is she a perfectionist? Why is she used to being alone? Why is she cautious? So on and so forth.
