 Setting: more then 200 years since the story of Aang. Set in a Victorian style steampunk world. Benders are a dieing group and have all but disappeared. those born with the gift find their way to 'special' camps run by a mad man. he believes he can rule the normal non benders by simply controlling the benders and the avatar to do his bidding. our story will be of the new Avatar, a boy born to two earth benders that where hiding outside of the camp.

Age: 17
Bio: parents where earth benders, havent escaped from the camp before Leon was born. he is a master at earth and metal bending and learning fire and is about at the novest level. he has the tattoos with the elements on it around his right eye, he keeps it hidden under an eyepatch. when ever someone asks about it he tells them he just tells them that he learned it from a pirate and it helps him see in the dark.

Short Bio: Born in the Southern Water Tribe as a gifted bender. His family was somewhat of an outcast because his father was a merchant of the Earth kingdom. Around age 7 his mother died trying to protect Lexus from being taken. He left the the Southern Water tribe, afterwards and hid his abilities from others. He would stay up only at night to practice water bending. Lexus is also a bloodbender, but he can't control it. His anger takes over a turns everything catastrophic.

It splashed everywhere, the ground had already turned mud and everywhere he stepped his boots got even dirtier. Leon was traveling through the forest. he figured he would walk more tonight and had been watching the moon not really noticing how late it was or where he was he heard something and froze. he could feel someone moving around and got puzzled moving towards the person as he hid his tattoos hating that he now could not see fully. he saw the other bending and smiled brightly walking out "your a bender!" he said louder then he meant to and it echoed making his cheeks go pink

He saw the guy spying on him. As he was about to walk toward him Lexus heard gun shots. "Oh no..." Without thinking he started bending the water once again grabbing the guy and himself towards the lake. "Hope you are not afraid of water." He said with a sarcastic tone. He opened his mouth to say something but by the time he react they where under the water. he pulled the dirt around them and tried to get something to light with so they where not in the dark. "oh screw that" he ripped the cover off his eye so he could see better and he found a match and something he hoped was burnable and lit it. they had some light in the room but not much. he looked at the other and it was clear that he had tattoos of each nation circling his eye "I am Leon nice to meet you"

he shivers and shakes out his hair and clothes "umm my father gave them to me.." he finds some weeds that where stuck on his clothes and makes a little fire so they could see clearly "nice to meet you Lex.. and im sorry about that.. normally i am not that bad.. I just was happy and suprized to see that there was one around here.." he forms some seats and sits in one holding his hands out to the fire "your a water bender.. you should take the water from our clothes.. its cold.."

"erm.. ya sortof" he said with a blush, he had noticed the other move away from the heat. "is it too hot for you? i can fix it so the fire isnt so big.." he kept his eyes on the fire "though i am not good at it.." he does two moves and the flames die down, it was still bright but the heat was not coming off as hot.

"I.. umm i am able to learn different elements.. father didnt teach me compleatly he died before he could tell me the rest.. I am different then most benders" he shrugs looking at the other smiling softly. "I want to find out more on why i am special and they seem to want to kill me.."

He started thinking about those BenderHunters, how he heard the gun shots, people's screams trying to not get captured and Non-Benders witnesses. Killed. "they haven't left." he said putting his hand to the ground "they are waiting to see if we are just hiding. they want us to come out so they can grab us.." he sighs and puts his hand back on his knees "I am a prodigy.. I am a special bender.. A connection to the world." he stood up "we can head under the water.. towards town.. is there a place you can hide?"
