I'm curious.. have you ever had someone teach you something really fun and then have them turn around and say you shouldn't do it?
I've been taught a bit of flag and rifle (totally dying to try sabre ).. and the person that taught me is like.. being a total b***h about me wanting to continue with it.
She keeps saying that it's not worth it since I'm not in public school and downs me when I say that I'd like to buy a flag, rifle and sabre someday.
Ya know, it may not ever be useful... but whatever happened to doing something because you like it or because it's fun?
It really bothers me that she taught me all this stuff and then wants to discourage it. I LOVE colorguard. It's fun, it keeps me active (which is really great, I think XD), and it's actually relaxing to me.
