A mid the place known as Dragon Square, where all the humans gather to sell their goods, a very unusual place sprung up from the ground. Its doors are always closed, but never locked. Inside the rather dark stablishment, there is a counter and tables, a typical bar as one would say. From outside a window, you can see a simple sign, that says Club Youkai: Drinks and Fun, declaring it a place for socializing and heavy drinking. Behind the counter od this stablishment there is an odd looking girl, who goes by the name of Ibara Hinasaru, she is not one to socialize, and would most likely serve a drink and move away.
Ibara is a very easy to spot girl. She is about 5'8, well figured and with a certain silent pride. As said she wears western style pants, with some suspenders like Kamishirasawa's friend. She also wears two belts that loop her waist, myth has it they used to hold two blades, like the half ghost half human gardener, Youmu Konpaku, but now, her belts are just a decoration to her outfit. Ibara wears heavy looking boots that have the pants tucked into them. She usually wears a pair of fingerless gloves, with a wrist buckle that resembles a shackle. Her shirt is white, and long sleeved. When she does roll up her sleeves, various scars can be visible, she has never told anyone about those. The most signature clothing item though, is the paper boy cap, which she wears at all times. When she does remove it, a white band runs around her head, looking something like a hair ribbon.
Her hair is black, the tips white, making it look quite odd. Her hair reaches her knees, her eyes a deep blue, looking unmatching with her rough features.

A young woman, seeming to be around eighteen or nineteen years old enters Club Youkai, seeming to have a bit of trouble getting what appeared to be a rather large bow through the door. Standing at about 6'1" to 6'2", she towered over most with an intimidating, generally sour look on her face, though her usually polite demeanor went to show that she wasn't entirely what one might describe as 'sour'. Her waist-length white hair was put into a ponytail, and her eyes, an unnatural gold colour.
However, the most unusual thing about her, was possibly the fact that she wore the garb of a shrine maiden, tattered and torn, with the midsection showing. It was obvious she was no longer a shrine maiden, but it was also obvious that to whatever god she once served, she had no respect for, as it seemed to be a voluntary ruination of the outfit.
Making her way to the counter, she sits, and sets her bow against the counter next to her, not really ordering anything or speaking just yet. First, she would go to examine the place, see if it was really worth staying at for any amount of time, then she might order something. Or simply sit. The atmosphere was relaxing enough, at the very least. "..."

Having turned to clean a few things, Ibara only turns around as the big woman bumped into the frame with her even larger bow. It was not every day Ibara met someone taller than herself, so Holy ******** and a raised eyebrow were her reactions. But, all her body did was turn back to her task and feign disinterest in the newest customer coming into the bar. Said disinterest would have been easier to keep up, had the white-haired-wanna-be-miko had not come sit at the counter, not far from her standing spot. ". . ."
Eventually the bartender turns to pretend and organize things under the counter, staying sort of parallel to the white haired woman. This was the best spot: She could watch her, or in its effect, serve her when she was ready to order. Ibara was not one to come asking if you needed a drink, or if you had troubles. She was a bartender not a psychologist.
And so she plays dumb, fighting around under her counter.

Hartly knocks her fist against the counter twice, watching the girl occasionally from the corner of her eye. Eventually, she speaks up, deciding that this place was quiet enough for her to at least be able to enjoy it for a time. "I would like a drink. Nothing alcoholic. Perhaps a water, if you'd be so kind."
After stating what she had wanted, Hartly begins to relax a little in her seat. Being new to this general area, she'd eventually have to socialize. It wasn't necessarily something she had a problem with, though this woman didn't seem to be one for such interaction. Ah well. May as well give it a shot. "I'm new to this general area. Perhaps you might know of some places of interest? People that I should watch out for, or things in general that I'd need to know to get by?"
Starting off simple enough. As she spoke, she leaned forward on the counter a bit, her sour look fading into a general blank expression, perhaps even to some extent, pleasant.

Ibara slowly pulled high enough to put her eyes over the counter. At being asked for water, she nods and stands. A tall glass, three sizeable icecubes and she pours in some water in to the cup, then sets it down in front of Hartly. ". . .?"
"There is Keine Kamishirasawa, who is the local teacher.... and apparently the local counselor of sorts. Additionally the Myouren Temple provides help for anyone needing shelter and food for any soul in need, Byakuren Hijirin is the person to see. They are typically the nicest people to look to if you ever find yourself in need," Ibara spoke as if she was reading it off a pamphlet,"The land is for anyone who works it, so if you need a home, you can make yourself on wherever there is space." She idly cleaned a glass, "Is there anything in particular you would like to know?"
It's her NPC showing.

Indeed, her NPC was showing and Hartly could spot it a mile away. Giving the woman a smirk, she takes a sip of the water and leans forward a little more. "Aren't you a charmer? I must say, your ability to recite regurgitated information is rather attractive. I find myself lusting for you as we speak, oh sweet bartender." With an overdramatic hand to her forehead, she sits upright again and chuckles, setting her hand down to her sides, one moving back to hold the glass again.
"Though in all honesty, I do grow tired of the whole acting as though nothing more than a shell, as so many seem to be prone to around these parts. I know you are capable of more, yet for whatever reason you seem to be hiding it. Then again, I suppose it'd be natural for a bartender to be reluctant to show any semblance of personality. It's that detachment, isn't it? The tiresome plight of dealing with other people's problems that has made you react in that way?" Hartly, stop analyzing people out loud. Ah well. With that, she picks up her glass and stares at the water inside, before looking at Ibara, and even giving her a warm smile.
"My name is Mayumi Tamashi, though you may call me Hartly. Who are you?" A simple greeting for now.

Ibara gave her a look, slowly raising an eyebrow. How enthusiastic of a woman in rags indeed. "You certainly do not react to regurgitated information like others. You are right though, I have enough in my plate to deal with other's issues? Attractive? You must really be drunk already." She chuckles before leaning her elbows on the counter. "The acting is a force of habit, yeah, like you said, but seeing as how you seem to know much better than the other folk, I will entertain you for bit, yes?"
"I am Ibara Hinarasu, or people call me 'that one b***h,' but please, do call me Ibara."

"A pleasure to meet you, 'that one b***h' though I think I like Ibara more, so I will call you that instead, as you've asked me." Hartly gives her that little smirk of hers. Oh, Hartly. Always taking every opportunity you can to show off your infinite amounts of sass. "Now in what form will this entertainment come? Shall we move to a back room, safe from prying eyes as we claim eachother?"
Yep, she was forward tonight, though fully aware of what she was saying. Taking a sip of her water, she chuckles. "As fun as that sounds to me, however, I'm more interested in talking than doing things of a lewd nature. Now, if you'd be so kind, perhaps you could tell me of some of the actually interesting information that I won't find at the tourist booth? Surely there are more happenings and people in the area that I should perhaps even be wary of?"

"Why, thank you, such a mannered person," Ibara raised an eyebrow, and chuckled a bit. The comment about the back room made her blink and raise both eyebrows. "Wait, that is not what I meant-" She sounded almost flustered! Thankfully, Hartly soon calmed her nerves and told her it was all a joke.... of sorts. This woman made her blood boil a bit, but at least not in the 'I will murder you' way.
"We have a lot of youkai hidden within the village," Ibara says to Hartly."They tend to hide themselves and pretend to fit in with the humans, but we all know they are here. Even if you are some sort of ex-shrine maiden, judging by your clothes, you should probably not pick a fight with anyone without knowing who they are. I particularly have had bad experiences with a certain mole youkai, and I do regret ever bumping into her."

"Oh, I'm not too entirely worried for youkai, considering both my bow and my blood are poison to any that may wish me harm, and I'm not one to pick unnecessary fights, unlike a certain few I've heard about in this area. And... ex-shrine maiden? Do I make it so obvious?" She chuckles, finishes off her water, now waiting for the ice to melt so that she'd be able to have another drink. "But you're welcome to eat me anytime you like.~"
Hartly, stop flirting. Back to holding at least some semblance of a serious conversation, she stretches, and sets her hands down on the table. "Though it is good to know that not just humans live here. It would be boring if it were so. Not that humans are uninteresting, but... well, most of the time they are. Anyways, I'm looking into work. Know of any place a person such as myself may be able to find a job? Something to do?"

"Poison? You can't possibly mean...? Ibara squints a bit, "You aren't a celestial'...? Part one then? Why would I eat you if you are poisonous--" Then she got it and blushed intensely,"Oh you meant- Ermn." She cleared her throat , and fixed her collar idly.
"Work? Mh, no, I have been self employee since I got here, I do not know of anyone looking to hire a youkai exterminator except maybe Keine, but she is more about 'Oh my gosh, guys, we need to coexist with humans, and we need to be nice to them!' that kinda thing, so I doubt she'd look for someone with a giant bow." Hey, at least she was relaxing.

"Youkai exterminator? Oh- no, that isn't what I meant at all. Yes, I may be an ex-shrine maiden, as well as an archer, and I am half celestial, though I don't really enjoy nor intentionally show myself to be of that disposition. All I want is something to do. I'm willing to do odd jobs, or really anything, for free. The only reason I really carry my bow around anymore is for self defense and meditation." Hartly undoes the ponytail, letting her hair fall, and stuffs the band somewhere in a pouch she was carrying with her as well. Fixing her hair so that it fell evenly, she smiles at Ibara once more.
"Even if that won't get me work anywhere, that's fine, I suppose. I can figure something out." With a sigh, she chuckles. "Being excommunicated is a real drag sometimes, ya know? But I won't tell you about my problems. I'm sure you hear enough of it already."

"Ah, I think I understand, I try not to show my own disposition as an oni, specially because I tend to stay away from alcohol. It's brought me enough troubles to want more, ha." She laughs a bit, watching Hartly fix her hair out, looking more attentively as she mentions she has been excommunicated. There was some definite kinship on that. "Yeaaaah, I was exiled from the underground a couple centuries ago. I spent my fair set of time just tumbling from one place to the other...' Ibara idly rubbed her chin.
"Do you have no home currently?" Ibara looked at her with the beginnings lf a crazy idea.

"Hm. That must be hard, though you seem to be getting by fairly well. I was only excommunicated a few weeks ago, so I'm still trying to get some stuff figured out." She sips some of the water created by the melting ice, and watches Ibara.
"The only thing I have to my name currently are the clothes on my back, and my bow, with no home or money to speak of. As far as you should be concerned, I'm a homeless woman. Which is... eheh... mostly why I was looking for work. Can't really pay for the water. But thanks for it anyways." Grinning sheepishly, Hartly rubs the back of her neck. "Why do you ask?"

"A few weeks ago? Yeah, it takes a few years to get accustomed to the idea, specially if you really cared for the place you got kicked out of," Ibara nods to Hartly's comment,"But I've had quite the bit of time to get used to it and now, I've even had some help." She grinned sheepishly as she said the last part.
Agai she raised an eyebrow, and perhaps risking of showing more of her NPC, the oni leans in, "Well, usually I beat up folk who do't pay their bills, but I like you, hence why I am going to offer you a very unique opportunity. " She nods up to the stairs, "I live in the second floor of my bar. And there may be a spare room."
