Have to say I’m (pleasantly) surprised. Gamefreak is really breaking its pattern by releasing a pair of sequel games for Black and White instead of simply making a complementary version like it did the past three generations. Actually, pretty sure this is the first time they’ve EVER released a true sequel game, the last closest thing being Gold and Silver.
Of course, not really sure how much new content the new games will actually contain, if Touko and Touya will return as playable characters, and how much of the game plot is new vs. simply tweaked from Black and White. In fact, these games might turn out to be simply a complementary game for Black and White split into two different versions for the lulz (and profit margins). Would be disappointing.
Kind of hard to tell when all you have to go on is a trailer presenting two recolors of one pokémon. ^^;
tldr: Hoping they’re sequel games and not a modified B/W version split into two.

It is indeed a sequel to Black and White in which some new Pokemon would be introduced, whether they're new Pokemon altogether or new formes (such as Kyurem's new forms). It seems to be following the Pokemon Platinum formula where Giratina was granted a new forme, as well as Rotom. Hopefully Touko and Touya remain as playable characters, but with either different colored clothes, or different clothes altogether (I'm sorry but I'm a fan of Touko's trucker shorts. I even say DAT a** when she sends out her Pokemon from my side XD ). We'll just have to wait and see. I'll do my best to keep you guys updated as well. Japan will get these games June 6th, 2012, so that much we know.

I think it would be pretty cool, if they would give us extra content
like extra outfits so you can change what they wear.

We need interchangeable clothes, or colors at least. That would be awesome. I have a feeling that they might add part of another region or an expansive extra area to make use of the subway lines. Anville Town isn't very...important if you ask me, and they need to make it more important.

I was actually hoping for Grey...
But playing sequel sounds nice too.
I am just not too fond of Kyurem's new forms.
I hope Game Freak will make the whole Team Plasma be more detailed (and darker), since they have the hidden ability to bring up wars.
Also, I am looking forward to Unova's battle frontier.

Game freak actually stated that the characters in the ad are different people all together and yea it is a different story the pokedex is shaken up a bit so that pokemon have different numbers and tyranitar is a catchable before you beet the game at this point

Sorry for the long absence. Now that the final exams are over biggrin
Anyway I've been talking the heck out of this game for months, and I now too well of the fact that i'm expecting this game fully.
Of course I will express some regrets not getting some dlc pokemon from the dream world or mystery gift since my network is messed up at times, but I will make sure to get ready in time for the next batch of events once black and white 2 is out and about...

It looks like Bianca stole Cheren glasses as he is a Gym Leader in BW2, she became an assistant under Prof. Juniper and gave you Pokemon!
N is coming back to town as well. X X
Previous Champions, Leaders etc. are back in BW2 to battle you.X
