Alright, for those who have seen the show and read the books there are always complaints. What are yours. You may actually not have any complaints for this show.

The only real complaint I have is that it wasn't longer. The length isn't necessarily short per say but I just wish it was longer so they could have introduced a little bit more of the minor characters and just so I could see more period.

Other than that, at first the physical portrayal of Syrio Forel upset me at first and was my first real dissapointment in the show, but he grew on me and I don't complain at all anymore. the only other complaint I have is that they didn't didn't show the melee competition during the Hand's Tourney much less even mention the winner, Thoros of Myr. The only other character I'm dissapointed they didn't introduce this first season was Roose Bolton. Overall though I still give the series a 5 out of 5; and as a big fan of the novel series and not just a casual watcher of the show I was without a doubt impressed and thoroughly entertained and can't wait for season 2.

I actually watched the show before reading the book, so I was blown away by it and was not constantly comparing it to what I had read.
Therefore, I'd give it a 5 out of 5.

P.S. I ordered season 1 on blu-ray today!!! I can't wait to get it!!! xd

I give this season a 5 out of 5. I was very impressed how well done it was. I often worry when books are converted to shows or movies . Traditionally the story suffer , but this is not one of those cases. I have to agree my biggest complaint was length because I never wanted it to end. I have to continue my reading and prepare for season 2. I really can not wait.

We do have choices.

Agreed. I had read the books prior to the HBO series, and I still wasn't disappointed. I can agree that it would have been cool to see Thoros and his flaming sword early on to give us a point of reference later on (unless they have decided not to include him in the show at all). Still, all the major important events occurred, and they were all pretty much as written. I think the show's team has done a fantastic job at translating a lengthy medium into one that is more compressed.

He will be in the show as he has already been referenced in a convo between Jory and Jamie about him bieng the first through the Greyjoy castle battlement with his sword

I had a few small complaints but not to many. More with season 2. One thing I notice rereading Game of thrones again is that in the show the kids are all 2 years older. Kind of bugged me once I noticed. Even though it's not nearly as good as the book I still rated it 5. Favorite tv show ever.
