Home home home. They were finally home! As reluctant as Adi had been, in some ways, to leave Azeroth, she was also incredibly excited to be home. She'd missed everyone so much! And not just that, she had so much to tell them. She was especially looking forward to squealing with Rio's aoidei, and telling them all about...well, things. Girl things!
The werewolf crept into Love's rooms, intending to ambush the first person she came across, but...where was everyone? Checking room to room, she finally found someone, but it wasn't anyone she was looking for! Still, she was nothing if not friendly, and offered a greeting. "Hi! Who're you?"

She would've found Leo on Love's bed, currently having a staring contest of sorts with a starry patterned floox. It wasn't one of the little creatures that was part of the group that seemed to live in the apartments either. He had woken up alone with naught but this one curled up next to him. At least it seemed friendly enough?
He looked up when the door opened, surprised by the unfamiliar face that peeked in. "Hello.." It seemed he was not who she expected to find. "Looking for Rio, I presume?"

"Yeah..." Adi answered and entered, intrigued and distracted by this new stranger. Handsome stranger, as it were. Whoa. With how little practice in or reason for schooling her expression, it would probably be easy enough to tell that she was impressed. She didn't even take particular notice of the floox, assuming at a glance that it was one of hers.
"Who're you?" she repeated. "I'm Adi."

He smiled, amused by her expression. "My name is Léonce, or Leo, if you prefer."
Adi. After a moment it clicked. Rio's daughter! "I'm not actually sure where he has gone off to, I know he was looking forward to seeing you when you got back."

The werewolf's ears flicked forward, and she stepped a bit closer. The sheer curiosity was clear...which would have been true for anyone she'd come across lounging in Rio's rooms, but went double for attractive young men. "Léonce?" she tested it, tilting her head slightly. It was a different sound than she was used to. "That's a pretty name."
"That's okay! I'll wait for him." He never really went far, so he couldn't be gone for that long! "When did you get here?"
She'd only been gone for a couple weeks, so he couldn't have been here any longer than that. She totally would have noticed.

"It means 'lion' in D'Angeline." Leo scooted over on the bed to give her some space to sit down. "A couple of weeks, I think?" He wasn't exactly sure how long it had been, but Rio had mentioned that Adi had only been gone a day or two when he arrived. That and it was hard to keep track of time in this place.
He reached out to pet the floox tentatively, still a bit unsure about the thing having never really dealt with many animals.

"D'Angeline?" Adi, of course, had no idea what that meant, aside from it obviously being some language she'd never heard, although she was quickly distracted when he invited her to sit next to him, which she did happily.
...wait a minute. She peered at the floox suspiciously. "That's not La. Where'd you get it?"

"Its the language spoken where I come from." Leo looked from Adi to the floox, then back again. "I am not sure where it came from. It was curled up next to me when I woke up a while ago. Truth be told, I am not entirely sure what it is. I only know there are others like it running around here." That and at least one seemed to have a taste for tea.

"Where's that?" the young woman asked. She was too curious not to ask about things like that.
"Oh, it's a floox." She waggled her fingers at it invitingly. "Most of the ones around here are mine, I had to leave them when I went to Darnassus."

"Terre d'Ange." He watched as the floox got up and trotted over to Adi, sniffing at her fingers. Ah, that certainly explained the behavior of the one that drank Rio's tea. They were lonely without their friend to look after them. "A floox, hn? It is a cute little thing."

That was completely unhelpful! Just the name didn't tell her anything, she needed more than that. "I've never heard of it. Tell me about it?"
Cooing at the floox, Adi offered it a scritch.

Her not having heard of it was nothing new by now. "It is a beautiful and peaceful, if simple, place compared to here. Love is a guiding principle in everyone's life, we value and celebrate it in any form we find it. The blood of the people of my land springs from angels, if history is true, but now I'm not quite so sure." With what he had seen here, he doubted his own people's history just a bit.

"Angels? Is that what you call gods?" If Leo had thought Rio was curious, he was in for a surprise! Adi was even worse, and with a much smaller frame of reference as well.

"Sort of, religion in Terre d'Ange is a bit...complicated." He didn't mind answering her questions, since she seemed genuinely curious.

"Complicated? How's that?" Adi tilted her head. Leo, it seemed, was very good at giving little tidbits of information, just enough to make her ask another question.
